Back by popular demand, the Team Associated RC8B3 44T ring gear and 13T pinion gear have returned as a combined packaged to include both gears as a set. Used as a tuning option in RC8B3 V3 differentials, the 44/13 gearing has a lower gear ratio for more top end speed over the 42/12 gear set.

New from Samix for the Capra, is this black coated brass knuckle. Weighing in at 56g per side, they provide improved centre or gravity and forward weight bias for climbing. Additionally they offer better durability and rigidity over the factory plastic parts and like the other Samix parts they are a direct fit. Made of high quality brass and black coated to help prevent corrosion, they are etched with L and R for ease of installation.

Element RC’s Trailrunner 4×4 is now available in a red/orange, a colour the company refers to as ‘Fire’. The body and chassis remain unchanged, with the new colour body made from a high-strength polycarbonate that has been pre-painted to look fresh from the dealer showroom. Designed for looks, function and customisation, it features a two-piece design with removable front lower valance, injection-moulded fender flares, B-pillar appliqués, door handles, windshield wipers, mirrors and front grill installed right out of the box. Also included are injection-moulded roof rack, three-piece front bumper with D-rings, snorkel and accessory decal sheet.

Round 1 of the Tekno RC 1/8 Winter Series was held last weekend at the HobbyTown USA Hobbyplex in Omaha. Racing was close, with Jared Tebo (Tekno) taking the TQ in Expert Nitro Buggy, with Mason Fuller (TLR) starting first in Expert Electric Buggy. In Nitro, Mason and Jared would have an epic battle for the entire 30 minute main. Both would would make strange mistakes every time they built any sort of a lead. Close acing throughout, Tebo would emerge the winner in front of Fuller in 2nd with Jared Wiggins (Tekno) right there in 3rd, the top 3 finishing within 4 or 5 seconds. In Electric, Mason and Jared again battled early, but unfortunately Mason would have some mistakes and Jared pulled a big gap to win the 10 minutes main.
Coming from T-Works and made for the Kyosho MP10E is this carbon fibre centre gearbox plate. The part is cut from high-quality carbon fibre and it is a direct fit to the centre bulkhead of the EP-powered MP10, replacing the kit standard metal version.

AKA have announced their new V2 1:10 scale front foams for both 2wd and 4wd applications. With new tires like the Scribble with a different carcass design, a new more robust front foam was required to further enhance the tire’s performance. The V2 foam was designed to fit AKA’s latest carcass design first used in their Scribble line of tires. It fills out the carcass evenly to support the sidewall and centre of the tire for even wear across the tread pattern. The new V2 foams will fit in most, if not all, standard 2.2 2wd and 4wd front tires regardless of brand.
