Avid Kyosho top shaft or Triad slipper clutch

Kyosho RB5 and RB6 owners can now run the Avid Triad next-generation slipper clutch thanks to this new Kyosho top shaft. A direct replacement for the Kyosho main gear shaft for offset motor, the new shaft allows racers to run the Triad slipper clutch along with optional Triad spur gears 69, 72, 75, 76, 78, 81, 84, and 87. Perfect for stock racers limited by Kyosho spur gear selection. Precision CNC Machined in the USA, it is made from 7075 hard-anodized aluminium.

JConcepts B4.1, T4.1 and SC10 front axle

One of the best upgrades you can make to the Team Associated line of vehicles is a conversion to 12mm hex wheels. JConcepts has been on top of this conversion since its introduction with hex adapters and Mono wheels. A critical point of the conversion revolves around the front axle and surrounding geometry. Within the steering block the space is very tight and especially between the 2 front bearings where the front axles rests between the bearing bores in 1 plane and the king pin in the perpendicular plane. The JConcepts front axle design is based around high-quality steel construction, an outer bearing crush step and an inner 4-40 lock nut for security. The design eliminates c-clips, screws and other items which are hard to detect of issues which limit performance. The free spinning design includes axles, 4-40 mini lock-nuts, thin axle shims, decal and assembly instructions. Available for B4.1 (above), T4.1 and SC10.

Martin Bayer wins Czech Winter Nationals

Last weekend the 2012 Winter 1/10 Off-Road Czech National race took place and Martin Bayer was present with his new Xray XB4. The club prepared a really nice track for this event and there was around 100 drivers attending. With virtually no practice we directly went to qualification heats. In the first qualification Bayer made an easy win but made a mistake in the second run, crashed by lapped traffic. Winning the third qualification Martin secured the overal TQ for main the final. With just some minor changes to the car in the final it was an easy win for the XB4 with 2 laps ahead of the Jiri Mara, with Kaja Novotny in 3rd.

Speedzone Peerless Series BL motor line

Speedzone “Peerless” Series BL motor line comes in a variety of turns and is built with the highest quality and tolerance. Engineered for 1/12 and 1/10 scale R/C vehicles, the motors are available in standard 540 and 550 sizes. The 550 versions are specifically designed for the Short Course 4WD class. And with the growing popularity of SC, Speedzone also has a 2wd Short Course Edition in the 540 line-up. Motors are bench tested to ensure sensor, stator and dual precision bearing seating are all functioning to a strict quality control. The Peerless design features symmetrical vent openings, which in conjunction with the case and stator structure reduces the motor temperature and maximizes efficiency during an operating cycle.
