Arrowmax ride height gauge & droop blocks

Arrowmax have released their new line of carbon ride height gauges and droop gauge blocks. Using a special design and production technology that sees the whole frame edge machined from 7075 aluminium, graphite plate is installed on the sides in order to reduce weight without compromising strength or durability. All parts are then laser engraved with logo and scale if applicable.

KO Propo EX-1 K.I.Y. transmitter

In a press conference in Japan today, KO Propo introduced its new Kustomize It Yourself (K.I.Y.) interchangeable transmitter. The concept of the new K.I.Y. brings simplicity to customizing and upgrading within a modular system. The new transmitter is composed of 3 modular units, Steering, Throttle and Master units. The three separate modular units can be easily put together, no screws required. Just push the safety lock of the joint, pull the lever and pull or push to insert or remove the modular unit.

CS Electronic LiPo safety case

CS Electronic have released this LiPo safety case. Previously available LiPo charging bags took up a lot of space in your pit box and on your pit table. This version is equally as protective but has a much smaller and neater footprint and can also double as protective storage for two LiPo stick packs.

KM H-K1 front swing upper deck

New for the H-K1, KM have released this 2mm carbon front swing upper deck set. The Set included steel front swing mount, flange bearing and two alumiminum screw spacers and makes it easy to setup the front swing function. Suitable to use with the H-K1 waist twister system it will also work with the side battery version or current bottom battery version. The set helps remove understeer when the front swing function is on. For use with the short wheel base chassis version.

Italian ETS attracts World class nitro drivers

This weekend (January 20-22) the Euro Touring Series travels to all new territory as Italy plays host to the second round of the Yokomo backed 2011/12 Series with a massive 300 strong entry set to descend on the town of Scandiano in the North East of the country. A nation famed for its motoring passion and in rc racing for producing world class nitro drivers, the event has attracted one of the sport’s greatest legends Lamberto Collari who will be joined by other big names from the onroad nitro scene such as Dario Balestri, Walter Salemi and Andrea Pirani. A nine-time 1:8 Onroad World Champion, Collari has already shown his ability to quickly adapt to 1:10 electric touring cars having made the A-Main at the Italian Charity Race in December which attracted a quality field as the main factory teams used it as a warm-up event for the first ever Italian ETS encounter.

Top spots for Maifield & Cavalieri at CRCRC race

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the CRCRC Electric Midwest Championship was held for the second year at the Ohio RC Factory in Jeffersonville, OH. A change to the schedule with two qualifiers on Friday and Saturday with mains on Sunday, instead of the usual one qualifier on Friday and three on Saturday, was a welcomed tweak to the popular event that boasted over 380 entries. Team Associated came out to support the event with superstars Ryan Cavalieri and Ryan Maifield. Competing in four classes, Cavalieri took the TQ honors in 2WD Modified and 2WD Stadium Truck and Maifield took TQ in the 4WD Modified and Short Course Modified class, which gave Associated vehicles the top starting spot in the four premier classes.

Jörn Neumann double at 2012 Petit race

JConcepts Team Driver Jörn Neumann competed at the 6th annual Petit race last weekend at Ardent Raceway in the UK. It was 2WD buggy and Pro4 Short Course on Saturday and 4WD buggy on Sunday. Every driver was able to run two rounds of practice and then qualifying got underway with only the fastest time counting. Jörn was able to TQ 2WD with his JConcepts Finnisher equipped Durango DEX210 while in Pro4 Jörn qualified 2nd. The finals were a little chaotic, but in the end Jörn was able to take the win in 2WD buggy and Pro4 short course. On Sunday 4WD qualifying started great, Jörn had really good runs and again the fastest time giving him the TQ spot for the mains. In the finals Jörn started off well but got tangled in traffic and ended up finishing in the 2nd spot behind Durango team mate Hupo Honigl.

Peak Racing competition LiPo packs

Peak Racing have introduced their new line of competition LiPo packs. The goal was to produce cells made for the RC Car application and not to just choose existing cells from the industrial production and put them on the market. Everything started from a blank page, a new factory has been established and all the production is exclusive to Peak. The first packs include a  5000mAh 90C 7.4V pack, a 5500mAh 90C 7.4V saddle pack and finally a 6400mAh 90C 3.7V pack.
