Fast lady racer Sabrina Lechner has inked a deal with Asian servo manufacturer Savox to use their products in her car for next year. The World Championship quarter finalist has been testing the products since the event in Lostallo and has been happy with the results and will now use them in her cars for 2010 as she plans to attend the European 1/8th and 1/10th scale Championships later this year. New for 2010 from Savox come two new releases predominately aimed at the nitro car racer who is racing over a prolonged duration. The demands put on throttle and steering servos when mounted in nitro vehicles, can create motor heat build up when used over a prolonged period. This heat build up can on occasions cause servo problems. With these applications in mind, Savox have reduced the motor RPM a little and improved torque within their new SC1267 and SC1268 servos to make them more suitable to longer sustained usage. …produce consistently high National results in both 2WD & 4WD. The team have already been great with set-up help and I’m sure I’ll be taking advantage of the vast AE experience within the team through-out the year. I’ll be running both the Novak Ballistic motors and the soon to be available new Kinetic speedos and from early running the Novak equipment provides excellent power and smooth delivery. Savox have signed a deal with Team Magic factory driver Raimondo Gilletti to run with their Servos next season. Very pleased with the deal given to him by Savoxtech in Taiwan, Raimondo is happy to use Savox’s high quality products in his car and is looking forward to help promote the brand in Europe. In round 1 it was Elliott who drew first blood, using his local knowledge and great car control to good advantage to take the round win from Darren and Neil. Round 2 and it was Darren who took top honours by a second from Neil, who was starting to learn the track more, having only raced here once before.
