Xray RX8 aluminium front anti-roll bar mounts

XrayRX8AluminiumAntiRollBar

The aluminium front anti-roll bar mounts for the Xray RX8 allow you to adjust the anti-roll bar independently from down stop setting, so that both settings do not interfere. The new parts also allow for wheelbase adjustments as the anti-roll bar mounts move together with the front arms, and wheelbase adjustment shims that can be added either in front of the anti-roll bar, to shorten the wheelbase, or behind the arm, to lengthen the wheelbase. The parts are CNC-machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium.

2nd Annual Tri-State Shootout

TouringPodium

The 2nd Annual Tri-State Shootout was held this weekend in New York at Floyd Bennett Raceway in Brooklyn. The track has been improved all year by Ralph Fortunato and friends. Fresh paint, news boards, improved layout and driver’s stand give all New York city area RC drivers a great place to race. First off was touring. Starting from pole position was Jamie Corrado but the race started with a lot of action and as a result three to four different drivers where fighting for the lead. Local hot shot and bump-up man Diatta Collimore was leading at the 12 minute mark when it started to rain. The race was going to be continued and run again later but more rain forced the results to be called using the qualifying order.

Team Grid RC8 suspension race geometry kit

GRID-RC8-Sus-Geo-Kit

Team Grid got in touch to tell us about their new race geometry suspension kit for Team Associated’s RC8 buggy. The kit converts all existing RC8 nitro or electric buggy into a super handling race machine for rough track conditions and slippery hard clay surfaces. The specially designed shock adaptors bring the shock rod ends deep into the stock arms, and the new front and rear shock towers also position the shock more upright. This new geometry enables full progressive action of the suspension arms as it navigates rough track surfaces. The shock towers offer a five position mount to tune the front and rear suspension even further. The shock towers and adaptors are CNC machined from 5mm thick aluminium and fit Team Grid’s already available suspension arms.
