CS Electronic Power X20 Power Supply

CS Electronic have released information on their upcoming Power X20 Power Supply. Delivering up to 20A constant output current, the device has two parallel output ports, adjustable output voltage of 5 to 15V and works with 110 and 240V input voltage. With compact dimensions of 158×90x47mm and a weight of 680g the X20 also offers over temperature and over voltage protection, as an integrated, silent fan and also an LC display to monitor voltage and current.

Schumacher have introduced the first large diameter ‘Big Bore’ shocks on to the market for 1/10th Touring Car’s. Under testing for many months the team have found these larger diameter shocks an extremely good tuning option for the Mi4 and will also fit other Touring Cars. Especially good on bumpy, lower traction tracks but equally at home on higher grip surfaces, the assembled units are sold as a pair, and include popular 16lb springs.

Following much speculation if Durango will make a truggy version of the DNX408, they have today made it official. “The demand from the racers out there meant that we had no choice.” We can expect more details on the new DNX408T in the coming weeks and months.

Vesa Yli wins the 2010 Nordic Championships

Having brought you a brief report from last weekend’s annual Nordic Championships for modified 1/12th scale and touring car classes in Spydeberg, Norway last weekend, V-Dezign front man Vesa Yli sent us this more in depth report on the 1/12th scale race. About 30 drivers were on the starting list in 1/12th and about 40 in touring car class – all anxious to battle for the Nordics title. The entry list in 1/12th scale included most of the top drivers from Finland, Sweden and Norway were attending including multiple Euro’s A finalists like Vesa Yli (FIN) and Mikael Fransson (SWE), A finalist from this year’s Indoor TC Euros Adrian Berntsen and Swedish and Norwegian top drivers like Alexander Andersson and Helge Johannesen – just to name few!

Elliott Harper dominates BRCA 1/12th Nats Rd2

Last weekend saw round 2 of the 2010/11 BRCA 1/12th scale nationals take place at Ardent Raceway. On Saturday, Elliott Harper ran away with the stock class driving is Speed Passion powered CRC Gen-XL. He comfortably TQ’d ahead of current European champion Chris Kerswell, who is still getting to grips with his new Serpent car. The V-Dezign trio of Andy Griffiths, Matt Varah and Mark Stiles completed the top 5. Elliott cruised to a comfortable win in the A final. Chris Kerswell pushed hard to try and keep up, but took too many chances and a mistake left him out of contention. Matt Varah also made an error and would miss out on a podium placing. With Elliott in a clear lead, the focus of everyone’s attention was on the battle for 2nd; Mark pushed Andy all the way but just couldn’t find a way past in the dying laps, so had to settle for the 3rd step of the podium behind Andy.

And now they have announced the release of this new version which not only has a new outside dimensions and material blending ratio, but they have also increased the hardness by 30%. KM Racing Servo horns, clutch tool & glowplug wrench

KM Racing have released a number of new products including this line of servo horns. Made for use on your throttle servo, the spline has been made from aluminium, while the arm itself is machined from carbon fibre, making for a strong assembly. Available in 3 different versions for use with different brands of servos. KM have also released some new tools beginning with this universal clutch gear wrench which is primarily used for install and uninstalling pinions from clutch bells and includes the adapters necessary to firmly hold the bell itself. The tool can also measure clutch gap from 0.5mm to 9.0mm, hold the flywheel for mounting and finally includes a 17mm wheel nut wrench. The final tool is a simple glowplug wrench that is long reach and which also sports a clutch nut wrench on the opposite end.
