JConcepts 22X F2 | S2 Bodies

JConcepts has released its popular F2 and S2 body shells for the 22X 1:10 2WD Buggy from Team Losi Racing.  With the release of the 22X in May, JConcepts set off to incorporate all the functionality of the IFMAR World Championship winning F2 body & the S2 body and wrapped them around the newest kit from TLR.  On the F2, the exclusive composition of the cab, extra rear windows, louvered roof all tied together with Finnisher “V” configuration makes it a classic performer.  The bodies include two of the 6.5” Carpet | Turf | Dirt wing which is now a standard racing item around the world.  The S2 with it slammed overall height allows it to whisk through the turns with a low centre of mass while the progressive cab design provides plenty of front-end force for superior balance and steering.  Both bodies arrive as clear polycarbonate with protective film and are available in standard and lightweight formed thickness.

Procircuit ‘Stinger’ | ‘Grasshopper’ 1:8 Buggy Astro Tyres

Spain’s Modelix Racing has introduced under its Procircuit tyre brand two new 1:8 Buggy patterns intended for high grip astro tracks, the Stinger and the Grasshopper.  Featuring a completely redesigned V4 carcass, they are developed to maximise performance on astro surfaces.  With a reinforced sidewall for increased lateral stability, they also have a lower profile to reduce sidewall flex and sliding.  A Smaller diameter, contributes to more precise and predictable steering.  Available pre-glued or unglued, they are exclusively offering in the A2 compound (Gold Dot).  The Stinger pattern is designed with a high-density layout of long, spaced centre pins, and angled side blocks.  This configuration provides direct forward traction, reduces lateral grip at high speeds, and improves cornering.  Ideal for the front axle or for setups seeking easy, forgiving handling.  The Grasshopper features a uniform distribution of long pins across the entire surface, offering maximum lateral grip and strong traction.  Recommended for the rear axle or setups prioritising overall grip and sharp steering response.

Another double for Champlin at INS15 Late Summer Race

Hobbytown Hobbyplex in Omaha, Nebraska, played host to the JConcepts Late-Summer Dirt Indoor Nationals over the weekend where once again it was Schumacher’s Broc Champlin who again did the double.  The 15th season of the JConcepts Indoor National Series, Champlin was the big winner at the previous encounter, the Mid-Summer Carpet Indoor Nationals held at Island Speedway in Iowa, and carried that form across to the dirt for the penultimate INS15 encounter.  Securing the TQ for both 2WD and 4WD Modified Buggy ahead of Team Associated’s Aydin Horne, with whom he shared buggy wins at the season opening Winter Dirt Indoor Nationals at Trackside Hobbies in Wisconsin back in February, Champlin managed to wrap up both overall wins in A2.  In 2WD Horne would win A3 ahead of 3rd place qualifier Davey Batta, a result that would see the Team Associated pairing completed the overall podium.  In 4WD, the No.5 Xray of Brennan Schimmel took the win ahead of Horne to knock team-mate & 3rd place qualifier Chase Lemieux off the podium behind Champlin and Horne.  The 2025 INS concludes with the Indoor Nationals Finals on October 17-19 at Hoosier RC Hobbyplex in New Albany, Indiana.
