Team Shepherd signs Marco Müller

Team Shepherd have confirmed the signing of Marco Müller for the 2009 season. The current Swiss 1/8th Scale On-Road Champion will use the Velox at National races as well as at the World Championship next year in Lostallo, Switzerland. Marco, who formerly raced for Mugen, will continue to use Novarossi engines.

GRP 1/8th scale Buggy rims

GRP have released a new 1/8th scale buggy rim and is the product of many tests carried out during this racing season, according to the usual GRP policy, whereby GRP introduces on the market its own new products only after many long test sessions. The rim features a new structure to improve its flexibility and has been lightened by 21% from 40 grams to 31 grams. Featuring a new external diameter of 83mm they are available in White and fluorescent yellow.

Jared Tebo teams with Byron Fuel

Byron Originals have announced the addition of Jared Tebo to the Byron Factory Team.  Jared fills the role as “Lead Team Driver” and will bring years of experience and exceptional driving skills to the rapidly expanding Byron Team. Not only will Jared be flying the Byron Race banner around the world, but he will be providing valuable input into enhancements to the current line of Byron Fuels and also the development of allied Byron Fuels Accessories lines. LRP have released the new factory team edition of their S18 TC touring car platform. The LRP R&D team has designed a competition 1/18th scale micro car that is tailored for pure racing. The car has been optimised in every small detail with all attention aimed at pure performance of handling, durability and ease of maintenance. The Factory Team Edition features a new refined ultra-smooth and efficient drivetrain, new long carbon plate top-deck design and carbon plate chassis that is up to 58% lighter than previous plastic chassis, resulting in perfect flex characteristics for higher-traction and precision controlled handling. Trinity Ex-Tech 2.0 Engines

Now available from Trinity are the new Ex-Tech 2.0 Engines. The Ex-Tech 2.0 carry the same high end attributes as the original Ex-Tech motors, however the 2.0 will be built to 2009 specs. These fully modded engines come pre modified directly from Italy and are tuned, broken-in and inspected at Trinity’s NJ Facility.
