X-Factory appoints new Team Manager

X-Factory have announced the appointment of Paul Sinclair to the position of Race Team Manager. Already the Chief Engineer, Paul will now handle both positions. “So much of our engineering work comes through the Team that it makes sense to do both those positions,” said Paul. “I’m in daily contact with most of the drivers already, and of course we discuss competition-related things as well as new designs, so this really won’t be much additional work.” Company President Chazz said, “Sales of the X-60, released in December, have been spectacular, taking all my time, and now we’re working hard to bring the X-6 Squared onto the market. X Factory sales have taken off in the past year, and I’ve got so much to do that I often am unable to handle Team-related issues on a timely basis. I’m so happy that Paul is relieving me of those responsibilities. Our race Team is in capable hands and will be much better served.”

Worldwide GRP price reduction program

GRP have announced their Worldwide GRP price reduction program, to be launched officially this month. To help face up to the serious worldwide financial crisis which is involving all sectors their idea is to make all high quality GRP products, tires, engines, and gadget lines, available at greatly reduced prices compared with 2008. This price reduction is possible by reducing to a minimum their margins, by removing some steps in the traditional distribution chain, and by the distributors also accepting a reduction of their margins. In this way they intend to widen the range of end-users, who will be able to purchase now, at advantageous prices, their top end products.

JConcepts 2009 Merchandising

JConcepts have unveiled their 2009 Merchandising line-up with the release of a new tee and hoodie as well as a new decal sheet. The tee uses a combination of blue stone color and familiar splatter JConcepts bull horn logo, which makes looking good easy. The hoodie makes a great new addition for the cold days at the race track, and features the same front logo as the tee but on a grey speckle background. A front pocket and hood drawstring makes a cold day feel a bit warmer. Both are made from a 50/50 cotton polyester mix and are available in sizes from M – XXXL. Finally, the new decal sheet features a number of standard JConcepts logos combined with the different event logos that the company organizes.
