Fabrizio Teghesi joins Kyosho

Fabrizio Teghesi joins Kyosho

Kyosho Germany have confirmed that front running Italian buggy racer Fabrizio Teghesi has joined their team to race the Japanese company’s buggy and truggy. Starting his racing career with buggies in 2000, the Italian racer was runner up in the National Championships last year, racing for Crono, and will this year compete for Kyosho at both National and International level, including the World Championships in the USA.

Hot Bodies have released a number of new option parts for their Cyclone touring car, starting with this all new chassis plate. Made from 2.5mm thick carbon fibre it has been optimised to be used with 5 cells, and following extensive testing this was the best shape and configuration they could achieve. Also new for the same car is a purple anodised aluminium steering set that increases durability in this area as well some new front drive cups, which reduce vibration of the drive shafts that can occur in cornering, providing more stable steering. For better handling, there are new coated shock bodies that provide a much smoother shock action and finally there are some lightweight aluminium ball joints in 2 different lengths and a set of purple anodised titanium track rods.

More starter boxes from H.A.R.D., with the release of the ultra compact H3 starter box, which is available for on or off road cars. The H3 sports a high revving 775 motor to kick start any engine on the market from .12 to .30 and beyond. With almost twice the power of standard 540 motors, this power plant has more than enough torque to get that piston off of top dead centre without a fight. The starting wheel is made of a high density rubberised material and sits well above the starter box surface to reach up and grab any size flywheel. The casing has been made from composite materials which are scratch resistant, fuel resistant and strong, yet lightweight for easy transport. Some other advantages of a moulded casing are built-in handles, adjustable chassis brackets, a convenient glow igniter holder, wrench holder and a non-conductive surface.

The ESC has two setup modes, Gentle Mode for 50% output and Fierce Mode for 100% output allowing you to ‘dial-in’ your car for high or low speed racing, depending on your racing skill.
