The 2019 Halloween Classic was held at the NORCAR The Gate track in Brunswick, Ohio this past weekend, attracting nearly 130 entries for the 1/10th and 1/12th on-road classes. In 1/12th Super Stock 13.5T it was Steve Radecky with the overall TQ after the qualifiers, however the single 8-minute A-main event had 3rd place qualifier, Max Kuenning coming out on top some 4.5 seconds in front of 5th place qualifier, Jared Bardin. 4th place qualifier, Joe Trandell came in 3rd to round out the podium. Featuring an inner belt reinforcement the tyres will not balloon or expand during use, which will give drivers maximum control to put the power down. They are made of Pro-Line’s popular soft S3 compound for lots of grip and they come including foam inserts and are usable with standard 2.2”/3.0” short course truck wheels. Designed for drag racing they however have a 90 mph or about 7,000RPM speed limit to ensure the inner belt will not become damaged due to excessive speeds. Sunday and round 8 would see a clean sweep from Davide Ongaro who took the overall TQ from Cole Ogden 2nd and Juan Carlos Canas in 3rd. At the start of the A-main Ongaro dropped back to the end of the field due to a horrible gate start but he would recover steadily, chasing leader Ronnefalk. The cars are scaled at 1/32th and feature a body shell that is shaped at the front and rear to allow the user to somewhat control and drive said ball or puck into a goal. Very reasonably priced, the focus is on fun and by including two in the package it ensures that it will be.
