Hot on the heels of their new hard suspension plastics set for the Velox V10, Shepherd now also release a kit for their popular Velox V8.2 1/8th scale on-road car. The new hard plastic part set includes all wishbones, uprights and body mounts in a harder variant. The high-quality composite material is characterised by an increased percentage of fibre glass in comparison to the standard wishbones, improving car handling on high-grip tracks or when used in high ambient temperatures. Shepherd have announced the release of a conversion kit that allows to update the Velox V8 WC to latest Velox V8.2 specification. The set includes all necessary parts such as the aerospace 7075-T6 aluminium main chassis plate, aluminium bulkheads and arm mounts, hard-coated aluminium wheel axles, the flex carbon radio plate, lower arms, uprights, the smaller servo saver, aluminium anti-roll bar bushings and more.
