Pro-Line Plymouth Barracuda Motown Missile black body

Pro-Line have introduced one of the most iconic Pro Stock bodies of all-time, the Motown Missile. In 1972, fully backed by Chrysler, MOPAR began to secretly develop a Barracuda into the ultimate Pro Stock drag car and ‘The Missile’ was born. It was driven by Don Carlton and the rest, as they say, is history. Now you can have your very own fully licensed replica of the 1972 Plymouth Barracuda Motown Missile edition ‘tough-color’ black body for your no prep drag car. This body is made from pre-coloured black body material, so you never have to worry about paint chipping or peeling off, hence the name ‘tough-color’. This body includes high-quality Motown Missile graphics that perfectly match those found on the original version of this iconic dragster.

Yeah Racing Momentum tweak wheels

Further additions to Yeah Racing’s Atsushi Hara Momentum line-up with the release of these tweak wheels. Accurately check if your 1/10 touring car has any form of tweak with this set of bearing supported weighted setup wheels. Place your car on a flat surface and have the weights spun on their side. Slowly lift your chassis and if a side rotates first it means that corresponding side is tweaked and you need to adjust your spring preload accordingly.

Exotek DR10 heavy duty alloy differential case

Exotek have produced this heavy duty machined 7075 alloy differential case for the DR10. Perfect machined roundness makes for a free spinning transmission and a must have for high powered drag racing applications. This is much stronger than the stock plastic diff gear but not indestructible so it is important to use black or white grease on the gears and reapply frequently to prolong its life. The set includes a diff case and diff cover, DR10 gear diff parts are required.

Team Brood Racing 7075 & magnesium slipper plates

New from Team Brood Racing come two innovative options for one of the most critical components in any off-road competition racing buggy, the slipper clutch. Through strategic design and machining, including multi-axis vent holes, additional heat-sinking capability is achieved. The plate faces feature vented dust channels which allow pad dust to exit the assembly, rather than build up on either the pad or plate, causing an uneven surface and inconsistent operation. Additionally, the slipper plates are available in two materials each with its own unique coating. The 7075 aluminium version is hard anodised, and are perfect for the modified and drag racing class drivers looking to save weight as well as realise the cooling, and hardness benefits that 7075 aluminium offers. Even though 7075 is heavier than the 6061 aluminium that most OEM slipper plates are made from, the Team Brood Racing aluminium slipper plates are 0.1 – 0.3 grams lighter due to the design. The Magnesium version is crafted in elegance from AZ61 magnesium and MAO coated for increased thermal resistance and surface hardness. These are targeted for the stock class racer looking for big weight savings in rotating mass, but without the poor driving feel of a slipper eliminator. These are not only limited to stock racing however, and have shown to provide excellent cooling with less fade, especially in the modified off-road classes. Even drag racers looking to shave every bit of weight from their drivetrain will benefit, as each plate is one gram each lighter than an OEM 6061 aluminium plate. Available for both the TLR 22 and B6 platforms.

Redcat Kaiju EXT 6S monster truck

Redcat has taken the popular 1:8 scale Kaiju monster truck and extended its wheelbase, along with some additional changes. These changes include new belted tires, motor heatsink with fan, new motor mount, metal servo horn, rear wing, and a body that comes in white or copper. The EXT has a new and longer chassis which brings the wheelbase to 360mm. This gives the Kaiju EXT an additional 51mm of wheelbase over the original version which was an incredibly fun truck to drive, especially while using a 6S LiPo to perform standing backflips and pull wheelies at almost any speed. Don’t let the extended wheelbase fool you, the EXT is fully capable of the same backflips and even longer wheelies due to its added stability.

Capricorn Lab GT2 EP chassis kit

Italian manufacturer Capricorn have expanded their range, by entering 1:8th GT world, offering a unique design to other competitors on the market that will come in both a GP and EP version. The GT2 EP has some very unique features, the main one being carbon upper and lower arms which are mounted on a pivot ball to the chassis, something which is now becoming more widely used in the 1:10 touring car scene. Accompanying the carbon lower arm will be a carbon upper arm, which provides a far more stable flex characteristic especially for varying temperatures and traction conditions. On to the drivetrain and in classic Capricorn fashion it has been made as light as possible keeping reliability in mind. With the weight of the chassis in this class, the lighter drivetrain will aid in acceleration. A low centre of gravity has also been taken in to consideration with super low shock towers and sway bars, along with getting the height of the bulkheads as low as possible for increased corner speed. There is a range of adjustability through the car from axle height adjustment, differential height adjustment and a wide range of flex options.
