The adapter is 3-D-printed using carbon-reinforced plastics for durability and a low weight and it allows to check the diff hardness of 1/8th off-road kits. Rapid manufacturing company Merlin McFly has announced the release of an aluminium differential case for the Amewi Pitbull X buggy. A direct replacement for the original moulded composite part the alloy diff case, machined from highest-quality aerospace 7075-T6 aluminium, greatly improves durability and reliability. Coming from Xpress is a lightweight motor fan mount for the XQ1 and XM1 series of cars. The CNC-machined and black anodised alloy mount screws directly into the existing rear lead weight mounting hole, sitting just behind the motor. The design prevents the fan unit from rotating on the mount while keeping the natural chassis flex intact and it is usable with the XQ1, XQ1S, XM1 and XM1S kits. …was still Jared on top, bringing home the win some 16.5s in front of Cole Ogden as Team Associated’s Evan Vail ended on the 3 spot. TLR’s Tyler Jones and AE’s Blake Pickett rounded out the top 5 podium result. Over in Pro Nitro Truggy it was Agama’s Ryan Lutz with the overall TQ and also the win for his new chassis sponsor as Jared Tebo (Tekno) had to settle for 2nd, some 14.1s down. Team Associated’s Evan Vail came in 3rd from HB Racing’s Dillon Caldwell 4th and Team Associated’s Blake Pickett 5th.
