Andy Moore heads qualifying in Sweden

Andy Moore has continued on his top form from yesterdays practice into todays qualifying by taking the overnight pole after 5 rounds of qualifying at this years EFRA 1/12th scale European Championships. Finnish brothers Sakke and Simo Ahoniemi are 4th and 5th with Britsh 1/12th legend Andy Griffiths in 3rd. Tomorrow will see the 6th round…

Andy Griffiths wins Modified 1/12th National

Even though Andy Griffiths had been crowned British Champion in 1/12th scale at the previous round of the Nationals back in December he still continues to push hard for the win, this time at the 5th round in Plymouth. Whilst in 19T he wasnt so fortunate, suffering a number of crashes during the final, in Modified class he once again lead the field home after starting from 2nd on the grid. With pole man Matt White, missing the starting grid and being forced to start from the pitlane Andy could take the lead from the start and easily win with…

Andy Griffiths is British 1/12th National Champion

Andy Griffiths has won the 2006 British 1/12th National Championships with 2 rounds still left to run having taken a perfect score from the first 4 rounds of the championship. Whats particularly noteworthy about this title is that it was the first major title in the UK won using a brushless motor, this particular one being from Nosram. Andy has won many national titles in the past and has made numerous European and World Championships A finals. This result is the first major title for Brushless in the UK and fittingly it was Nosram who pulled it off after lots…
