Avid A800 limited edition titanium chassis

Coming from Avid are two new titanium chassis for the Awesomatix A800X series touring car. The chassis has been designed for high bite conditions and Avid widened the standard arm pivots in the rear 0.5mm on each side – arms further from the bulkheads – which stabilizes the car allowing to drive it harder with more confidence. The designers have also narrowed the long arm suspensions pivots in the rear 0.5mm on each side – arms closer to the bulkheads – to match the rear. Awesomatix linear spring screws

Coming from Awesomatix is the ST69-00 linear spring screw designed to fit the AT119 progressive spring screw holder which was released with the PSS System some weeks ago. The linear screw can be used to replace the ST69-15/25 screws which offer 15 percent and 25 percent progression with the ST69-00 being developed to make for linear spring action comparable with the P09/X and RHS screw. Vogl & Riedmann win at Austrian EP On-road Nats Rd3

…the win in A2 to seal his overall runner-up spot. Helmut Frauenschuh came in 3rd to round out the podium in front of Toni Eder. In Touring Stock it was Robin Riedmann (Awesomatix) with the overall TQ after winning three of the four qualifiers as Alexander Mayer (Team Associated/Rebellion-RC) came in 2nd, scoring a single round TQ. In the opening two A-mains Robin and Alexander shared a win each, meaning A3 would bring the decision and ultimately it was Robin with the win and the overall from from Alexander in 2nd and Awesomatix’s Philipp Stadler in 3rd. Südhoff & Mächler win at TOS North Division Rd6

…coming out on top in A1 while Max sealed the bag with A2 and A3 victories for the overall in front of Kevin as Marvin Gutting came in 3rd to round out the podium. In Touring Fun 17.5T Uwe Kortehaneberg, Torsten Baggendorf and Helge Behrens battled it out for the overall TQ with the three being tie on points after the qualifiers. Ultimately it was Uwe with the pole position from Torsten and Helge. The finals then mixed things up a bit as Torsten walked away with the win from Helge and Uwe. Dutch EP On-road Nats Rd4 win for Florian Joos

…rails as he managed to TQ the last round by two seconds from Sidney. Sidney struggled a bit more on third run tyres then Florian. Govert, Rick and Eddie Rombouts concluded the top 5. The start order would be, Florian Joos (Xray), Sidney Blokker (Awesomatix), Govert Verbeke (Awesomatix), Rick Van den Akker (Xray/Zero Tribe), Eddie Rombouts (Xray). Boris Siladi wins at Swiss On-road Nationals Rd3

…held at the MRCL Langenthal club. In the Touring Pro Stock class it was Awesomatix’s Boris Siladi with the overall TQ courtesy of two round wins from the Xray duo of Nuno Huber and Cham Dassanayake, the latter two scoring a round win each. The triple A-mains then saw a clean sweep of Boris who took wins in all A-mains for the overall from Cham in 2nd and Nuno in 3rd. Felix Law wins at rain-affected HKRCSA Rd2

…Serpent’s Felix Law was in control of things in the Touring Modified class qualifiers, taking three of the four rounds for the overall TQ from Q4 winner, Xray’s Kevin Lau. Awesomatix driver, Fai Ho came in 3rd with three 2nd place finished. Unfortunately the race director had to call the event a day after the qualifiers as heavy rain made it impossible to run the final legs, meaning the overall results would be based on the qualifying results, handing Felix the win from Lau and Fai with Lau taking the runner-up spot in the tie-breaker with Fai. Krapp secures first podium at Apeldoorn with A3 win

Christopher Krapp has secured his first podium of the current ETS season after taking the win in the concluding final of a hot weekend of racing at the beautiful Apeldoorn track in the Netherlands. Having challenged Top Qualifier Bruno Coelho for a time in A2 but unable to find a way by the reigning Champion, allowing him to celebrate his third win of the season early, Krapp came good in A3.
