New from DE Racing come front chassis braces for the Team Associated B4, T4 and SC10 line of buggies and trucks. Designed to increase life and durability while maintaining the chassis’ stock appearance the parts virtually eliminate broken chassis. When mounted the chassis brace sandwiches the chassis between itself and the upper steering plate, redistributing impacts and reducing the change of braking the chassis. In the A mains, Nicolas Evens took the first two legs in front of Jean-François Renard. Both had a similar pace and only error-free runs allowed Nicolas to stay in front. The third place went to Philippe Hautecoeur (Associated SC10) after a good fight with Edouard-Benoît Michez (Associated SC10). …than steel, so they are smoother and last longer, but diff setting is still relatively easy. Ceramic balls are completely smooth and the hardest material they offer. This makes for the smoothest feeling, but the diff setting is the most narrow window of adjustment. Steel balls are the least expensive and easiest to set the diff. They do not stay smooth for as long as Tungsten Carbide or Ceramic so there is a small drop in performance for the lower price. JConcepts introduce the aluminium honeycomb motor mount for Team Associated’s B4, T4 and SC10 line of off-road vehicles. Machined from 3mm high quality aluminium the design of the motor plate improves overall rigidity over conventional ‘slotted’ designs as the honeycomb sections holes offer more stability in multiple directions while reducing weight at the same time. OC/RC employee and Team Associated driver Jake Thayer actually took over the lead for a few corners, but steady driving from Steven saw him pull back away, forcing Thayer to settle for a popular second place overall with Ryan Dunford completing the podium.
