JConcepts RC10B7 precut chassis protective sheet

JConcepts continues its tradition of making tape since 2008 with the newest release of the RC10B7 | RC10B7D chassis protective sheet. Pre-cut to perfection, lining up to the popular new buggy, the abstract design catches the eye and carries on a legacy of high-end chassis protectors. The 2-piece design, which includes three separate rear chassis pieces features italicised graphics in a high-speed fashion, embodies all that is great about competition. The chassis protective sheet is produced in a highly durable material making it ideal for carpet, turf, and dirt off-road racing. The profile lines the chassis shape and tucks into the front kick-up of the chassis and rests underneath the bumper to limit forward edge access. Out of the JConcepts Speed Laboratory, the neutral colours and layout match any racing scheme at the track and looks quick while doing it. With 2 complete sheets included per package, the durable and resilient material fits each chassis layout like a glove and adds protection and style in one easy package. While it’s not easy to re-invent the chassis sheet, JConcepts, along with Ryan Maifield, also offer a ‘No Apologies’ RM2 version of the sheet.

JConcepts RC10B7 F2 body

JConcepts has released its F2 body for the new Team Associated RC10B7 1:10 2WD Buggy platform. As the release of the RC10B7 | RC10B7D dropped, JConcepts set off to incorporate all the functionality of the IFMAR World Championship winning shell and wrapped it around the newest dynamo from Team Associated. The exclusive composition of the cab, extra rear windows, louvered roof all tied together with Finnisher “V” configuration makes the F2 a classic performer. The championship winning item includes two of the 6.5” Carpet | Turf | Dirt wing which is now a standard racing item around the world. The body includes all trim and window lines scribed on the body and masks to quickly cover the inside of the windows to perform user generated painting technique.

Xray XB2 Alu Front Roll-Center Holder

Xray has released an Aluminium Front Roll-Center Holder for use with its Bridge Upper Deck on its XB2 1:10 2WD Buggy. Also fitting the XT2 Stadium Truck, it increases strength, reliability and makes the handling more precise and more forgiving. The super-strong aluminium holder features two-roll centre positions and is CNC-machined from high-quality Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium. For this part, M3x16 screws must be used instead of the kit’s M3x14 screws.

RC-Project Shock Cups V2 TNG

After 18 months of development and testing, 12 prototype molds, 6 final, 3 different Shock Cups, litres and litres of silicone oil and one European Championship win with Juan Carlos Canas, RC Project has finally revealed its new V2 Shock Cap. The whole project has been revised compared to V1, now the Shock Cap can work as Bladder or Emulsion. The V2 Shock Cap now has 4 bleed holes (there were 3 on V1) and a new inclined hole to secure an M2 screw. It can also be used for Vented System (only in combination with honeycomb bladders) and inner chamber has been re-designed to maximise the performance both in emulsion or bladder system. The emulsion screw seal has a rectangular cross-section with a small pocket aimed to facilitate and speed up operations, this will also ensure that the seal is not damaged during the disassembly process.

Hobbywing QuicRun 10BL120 G2 ESC

In a busy week of releases from Hobbywing, they have announced their new QuicRun 10BL120 G2 sensored and brushless ESC for 1:10 Touring Cars/Buggies/Drift Cars. Simple to operate, with a wide range of protection, the cost-effective new 10BL120 G2 takes the outstanding quality and durability of proven Hobbywing platforms and makes it even easier to use and setup. The BEC’s continuous output current has been upgraded from 3A to 4A, and the output voltage is now 6V/7.4V adjustable. The 10BL120 G2 features adjustable electronic timing with up to 32 degrees of electronic timing available.

New from servo manufacturer AGFRC is the A66FHLW 60KG 4-Pole BLS Low Profile Servo. The 4 pole brushless motor is known for more power and to be stronger and gives you more torque when used so AGFRC have created a servo around. The A66FHLW 60KG 0.100s 8.4V HV digital programmable 25T low profile servo has a full AL6061T6 Aluminium CNC Case, high strength steel gears, smooth Dual Ball bearing, a high precision IP67 waterproof magnetic sensor and a 8.4V HV Digital Programmable Circuit. With programmable features, this servo offers versatility and adaptability to different application requirements. Hobbywing XeRun 2848 Brushless Motor

Hobbywing has announced their new XeRun 2848 sensored and brushless motor. With three different KV ratings of 2800KV, 4000KV and 4600KV, the motor is suitable for 1:14, 1:12th onroad and offroad vehicles. Compared to motors of equal size and specifications, XeRun 2848 power output is up by to 15%. The maximum efficiency of the motor is 6% higher and the internal temperature is approximately 20°C lower. The motor has a very low speed start up, offering extremely smooth and linear throttle response. The mechanical timing can be adjustable between 20-40° degrees.
