ECX Temper 1/18 4WD Gen2 RTR crawler

ECX’s new 1/18 scale Temper Gen2 4WD rock crawler is built to tackle any environment. This new and improved version builds upon the original Temper’s reputation and it sports a stylish and aggressive look with matching wheel rings, plus hidden compartment for the battery tray. The LED light bar keeps the fun going even after the sun goes down. A true 4-link suspension with improved articulation and strength is a substantial upgrade, while the larger servo mount and aluminium steering links allow for bigger servos to handle a higher power output. Designed for the consumer looking to join the scale movement, this crawler has everything needed to attack any terrain. Its high torque 380-size 32T brushed motor and waterproof electronics make hitting the trail easy. The ready-to-run set includes the factory assembled vehicle, a 2.4GHz radio system as well as a 900mAh battery and a suitable wall charger. The Temper Gen2 is also available in a blue colour body variant with matching wheel rings.

Lewis & Switzer win at Year End Showdown race

The 2018 Year End Showdown was held at Southside RC in Lake City, Florida. In Pro Nitro Buggy it was Landen Lewis with the overall TQ and he would also bring home the win in the 20-minute A-main, leaving behind David Carmendy in 2nd and Rob Lupo in 3rd.

Shin Adachi teams up with Muchmore

Muchmore have announced the signing of Japan’s Shin Adachi to their team through to 2020. The Yokomo engineer will power his rides using Muchmore speed controllers, motors and batteries while also using the company’s chargers and accessories. Shin says:

I am very exciting to joint Muchmore Japan 2019-20. I really like Muchmore products! Speedo, motor, battery, chargers and more. I will helping that products develop. I also helping team driver and customers! See you at tracks guys!

SRT W25 waterproof crawler HV servo

SRT have announced the release of their new W25 waterproof high-voltage crawler servo. Utilising a bi-colour all-aluminium case as well as a mixed 7075 aluminium and copper geartrain, the digital servo offers up to 25kg-cm of torque but it is also usable with standard 6.0V input, where it is still capable of 23kg-cm of torque. Above all however sits its waterproofness that ensures reliable operation whatever the conditions.

Arrowmax 2-in-1 tool base

Coming from Arrowmax is their new 2-in-1 tool base and parts tray specially designed for the use with 1/10th scale specific tools and wrenches. Machined from high-quality aluminium and coming in the company’s signature black and golden anodising, the tool holder features a centre parts tray surrounded by twelve machined pockets that can hold two 22mm handle, six 18mm handle and four 14mm handle wrenches. On the left side 4mm and 5mm holes can hold bullet-type connectors during soldering and the tool base also incorporates openings to hold two turnbuckle wrenches. The right side features spaces for Arrowmax’s multi shock clamp and other tools. The tool base comes in the company’s signature black and golden colours, without tools, and it is available now.

Sunpadow sign Daniel Kobbevik

Sunpadow have announced the signing of young Norwegian talent, Daniel Kobbevik to their international team. Already at his young age Daniel won both national and international titles including the Junior title at the 2017 IFMAR 1/10th Buggy Worlds as well as countless national championships. The Xray factory pilot and multi-times EOS podium finisher has the following to say:

I am very happy to join the Sunpadow international team and to get the chance to run Sunpadow batteries in all classes. I believe it is a new step forward to reach my goals.

Rusti Design YZ-4 SF carbon fibre shock towers

French brand Rusti Design has introduced new carbon fibre shock towers for the Yokomo YZ-4 SF 4WD buggy. Both are machined from matte finish carbon fibre and they sport an updated and unique design with a pocketed RD logo and additional machining for a low weight and increased stability. The shock stays however utilise the same geometry as the stock parts and they are available now.

Raceform EB/ET410 V2 electronic tray

Coming from Raceform is their V2 electronic tray for the Tekno RC EB410 and ET410 kits. Of a stronger and more durable design the item is made of a new material with stress areas having been eliminated, making for improved overall rigidity. In addition the a new 4-piece design ensures the tray can be rebuild with spare parts if needed. The tray was developed to ensure easy transponder, receiver, speedo and capacitor mounting for a cleaner looking installation and it is a drop fit with no chassis modification required.
