Leadfinger Racing ET410 Strife body shell

Leadfinger Racing have introduced their Strife body shell for the Tekno RC ET410 1/10th 4WD truck. The design idea comes from it’s much larger brother, the ET48 Strife body. To see if the idea would work, Leadfinger started by shortening the cab and rear truck bed, then narrowing the entire original mould to better suited the smaller ET410. The final step was to reverse or flip the front mounting posts. This gave LFR the room needed to install the front clips and clear the front cowling, making it a drop fit. The body comes clear and including window masks and sticker sheet.

Ryan Cavalieri doubles at Hot Rod Hobbies Shootout

The annual Hot Rod Shootout is always a racer’s favorite and attracts some of the fastest pros in the nation for one final mega outdoor showdown in Santa Clarita, California, home of the world famous Hot Rod Hobbies and the 21st running of the Hot Rod Shootout. In 2WD Modified and for those who thought Team Associated’s Ryan Cavalieri was slowing down because fatherhood stepping in was proven wrong over the course of the weekend as Cavalieri went head to head with current WC and took a resilient bounce back wing after losing A1. It would be easy to give in and just settle for 2nd, but Cavalieri’s inner fire wouldn’t allow that to happen. After stepping up the pace and winning A2, Cav Mode was in full sync and carried the momentum in A3 to seal up the overall in the 2WD Modified class. Ryan Maifield (Yokomo) had to settle for 2nd as Team Associated’s Jake Mayo rounded out the podium result.
