Coming from T-Works are four new lightweight bearing kits for vehicles such as the Xray GTX, Kyosho Inferno GT3, HB Racing RGT8 and Mugen MBX8 Eco. All use 8x14mm rubber-sealed bearings to replace the standard kit bearings for lighter ones. Using the lightweight bearings kits will reduce the unsprung masses for a more nimble handling and a lower overall weight. Also included in the sets are lightweight reducer bushings. Kyosho’s successful and popular Inferno MP9 TKI4 1/8th scale nitro off-road buggy is soon also available in ReadySet RTR specification. The kit builds on the 8-time World Championship winning Inferno platform and utilises the TKI4’s signature long front suspension arms and 17.5 degree C-hubs. The parts are available separately and they are designed to replace the standard kit items with cool looking high-quality carbon fibre parts. Kyosho have released a first official teaser image of their forthcoming new Inferno MP9-based 1/8th electric buggy kit. Currently in use at this week’s 2018 Alabama Manufacturer Shootout race in Cullman, Alabama, in the hands of Jared Tebo, the buggy is expected be fully unveiled next week. While sporting a new radical body shell design with a rear shark fin, the buggy is also expected to feature a totally new weight distribution.
