Bittydesign introduce the Force design body shell for Hot Bodies’ D812 buggy. The Italian company tried to create a body shell that attracts a wider range of people with the kit body shell being a love it or hate it affair. The extended runner features are placed on the rear-end of the body enhancing the force placed on the rear pods during high-speed acceleration. The main pods are heavily chamfered and a more heat-shrink design over the pipe, fuel tank and electrical / linkage make up the main pods. The end result has the body looking extremely low-profile with heavy JConcepts edginess and appeal. Renaud Savoya, who yesterday confirmed he had left RB, has signed for Team Orion. The 3-time European Champion had been with the French brand for 4 years and this move coincides with the Shark’s move to running electric offroad for main sponsor Xray. The first round of North Cyprus touring car championships under the sponsorship of Shark Energy took place recently. The race took place in NCRC Arena track in Nicosia and the event had 6 practices on Saturday and 5 qualifying rounds with finals on Sunday. The track was very fast and had middle/high grip. Serpent driver Mustafa Alp dominated the event winning all three legs of the A-final and he made a 10.8 second lap which was the fastest lap of race.
