R1 Wurks B7 Carbon Fibre Motor Mount Top Support

Another new aftermarket optional for Team Associated’s RC10B7 2WD Buggy is this ultra lightweight motor plate from R1 Wurks.  It enhance the stability of your motor by providing additional mounting support by relocating one of the mounting points to the top.  As a result motor flex at the mounting surface is minimised for a sturdier and more secure motor installation.  This motor plate not only offers the advantages of a cross-supported mounting configuration but also features multiple layers of high-strength carbon fibre.  The outer layer is made of forged carbon fibre in an epoxy matrix, creating an exceptionally stiff mount that significantly reduces weight.

GForce MX-4 Forever brings Hirosaka 2001 4WD Buggy design to fruition

Japanese manufacturer GForce has teamed up with one of the all time greats of RC Masami Hirosaka and his father Masaaki to bring to fruition a car that World history previously prevented from racing on the World’s greatest stage and from going into production.  Limited to just 100 individual numbered & assembled cars,  the MX-4 Forever is the car that Masaaki had designed & developed for his son to take on the 2001 IFMAR Electric Offroad World Champion which as a result of the 911 attacks never took place.  After the disappointment of failing to qualify for the 1999 World title race, this iconic duo were determined to retake the title and after many prototypes they finalised this design in 2001 but it didn’t get to race.  The Hirosakas chose not to participate in the 2002 and 2003 World Championship, and in 2004, the Hirosaka team disbanded when Masaaki decided to pursue his own path.  Therefore, the opportunity to participate in the World Championship with stealth car was lost forever.  Now, twenty years later, the legendary Offroad car which looked to never see the light of day again has been revived.  Each MX-4 FOREVER is present in an exclusive paulownia box produced domestically in Japan by the established Japanese company “Kitamura Mokkou Co., Ltd.,” with a history of 76 years.  The Masaaki’s graphics on the box are the work of his younger brother, Mitsumi Hirosaka and each of the 100 people who get to buy one of these kits will receive a personally signed photo from the legendary father-and-son Masaaki and Masami.   This makes the MX-4 Forever a truly special addition to any RC collection.  Set to go on sale from 12:00 on Saturday, June 1st, Japanese time, GForce have already had huge interest from collectors with this unique release expected to sell out fast.
