Yeah Racing 5mm offset wheel hex adapters

Yeah Racing have introduced a set of 12mm aluminium wheel hex adapters with 5mm offset. They are of a heavily machined design for a low weight yet great rigidity and are usable for a range of brands and applications including touring and drift cars as well as crawler trucks. The set includes four clamping-style adapters and it comes with cross pins and suitable screws.

T-Works aluminium exhaust locks

Coming from T-Works is a set of aluminium exhaust locks for most .21 and .12 exhaust pipes. The machined aluminium parts are designed to sandwich the pipe end in addition to the standard muffler grub screw, making for additional security and peace of mind in long mains or when running on rutted tracks. The machined aluminium items come black anodised for wear, in sets of two and including four grub screws.

Tanner Day sweeps Northwest Indoor Series finale

The final round of the Northwest Indoor Series was held this past weekend and it was Yokomo’s Tanner Day who swept both the 2WD Mod and 4WD Mod Buggy finals. In the 2WD Mod class Yokomo’s Jackson Andres came in 2nd, tie on points with Team Associated’s Harley Yoshii, who rounded out the top 3 podium result. Over in 4WD it was Harley Yoshii on the runner-up spot as Yokomo team manager Joe Pillars completed the top 3 podium.

Ty Tessmann sweeps Big Barn Shootout

The Big Barn Shootout was held in Chilliwack, BC this past weekend and it was Xray’s Ty Tessmann who dominated the 1/8th Nitro Buggy and 1/8th E-Buggy classes. Ty would secure the overall TQ in both categories and he also came out on top in the 30-minute Nitro Buggy main and the opening two E-Buggy A-mains legs to take a double win with Team Associated’s Peter Tozser and HB Racing’s Carson Phipps completing the Nitro Buggy podium as the Team Associated duo of Nick Wautlet and Mike Dana coming in 2nd and 3rd in the E-Buggy class.

Berkan Kilic wins Northern Germany Buggy opener

The opening round of the Northern Germany 1/8th Off-road regional championships, qualifying races for the German Nats, was held at the iconic Bistensee track in the very North of the country. Practice was held on Saturday with Sunday being race day. After the qualifiers and semifinals, Agama’s Burak and Berkan Kilic would lock-out P1 and P2 on the grid and after the 40-minutes A-main it was Berkan with the win from Burak as Kyosho’s Marcel Paul obtained the final podium spot.

Power HD sign Marc Rheinard

Power HD have announced the signing of 4-times IFMAR World Champion, Marc Rheinard to their team. The 6-times Reedy Race Champion and multi-time European and German Champion will be using Power HD’s high end servos Storm-7, Storm-5, R12 and B7-Revolution at events such as the IFMAR 1/10th ISTC and 1/12th World Championships, the ETS and EOS races and also at major international events such as the TITC, Reedy Race, and others. Rheinard will also assist Power HD with research and development and the German has the following to say:

I would like to thank Power HD to give me the opportunity to race for them. I tried the servos and i´m really happy with the performance and quality of all the servos they have. My brother, ToniSport is selling them in Europe which was another factor for me.

Factory RC YZ-4 SF slipper lock out set

New from Factory RC is their latest slipper lock out kit for the Yokomo YZ-4 SF 4WD buggy. This kit was specifically designed for the ever popular 13.5 4WD buggy class and made from multiple pieces of carbon fibre plate meant to be used along with Avid or Schelle spur gears. Using this setup with factory hardware drops over 8g over the stock assembly and it also allows to take advantage of a smaller spur gear to bring the Factory RC recommend either a 75T or 78T spur gear.

STRC introduce new Venture FJ options

Coming from ST Racing Concepts are three new option parts for the HPI Venture FJ trail truck. First up is a CNC-machined brass front or rear diff cover that adds precision to the axle and the differential gear mesh while adding more weight – 23g a piece – to the axle. Also new are brass rear lock-outs that add more weight to lower parts of the rear axle – almost 50g – and improve the alignment of the rear driveshaft over the stock plastic lock-outs. Last but not least comes a CNC-machined centre transmission case which offers better transmission components alignment and add another 36 gram to the lower centre portion of the Venture FJ. The centre transmission case is available in silver anodising.
