The final round of the StickIt1Racing Stock Series was held at PDX Underground in Portland, Oregon this week. In 13.5T 4WD Buggy it was Jim Meyer with the win from Daniel Jeppesen in 2nd. John Copeland would round out the top 3 result. Overall in the championship it was Jim Meyer who took the title two points ahead of John Copeland.

KO Propo have introduced their new EX-2 ST2 club-level radio system. The transmitter utilises the Extension Unit 2 steering wheel as well as upgraded angle sensors for the steering wheel and throttle lever that not only are about 100-times as durable as the standard potentiometers, they also offer a more linear output for greatly improved steering, throttle and brake feeling in both electric and nitro classes. The steering unit also offers dual ball bearings for the steering wheel shaft which optimises feeling and durability while a soft steering wheel return spring ensures a linear steering wheel feeling from the neutral point all the way up to the maximum operation angle. The ST2 transmitter is rounded out by the new V2.12 firmware as it is used with the high-end EX-RR transmitter. The radio system includes the compact size KR-241FH 4-channel receiver and it will hit stores at the end of August.

UK company Phat Bodies have introduced their new V Rally body shell for 1/10th scale rally and rallycross cars. Sporting large wheel arches the body supports 195mm wide chassis and it can be used with “dirt” high ground clearance or “tarmac” low ground clearance chassis setting, making it very versatile. The body is molded from high-quality polycarbonate, it comes in lightweight 0.75mm or more durable club racer 1.0mm thickness and includes a roof scoop, 2-piece rear wing, vinyl window masks and high-quality light, grille and vent stickers.
Available from French brand Rusti Design is a LiPo brace kit for the vintage Team Losi XX4 buggy. The 3-D-printed braces were designed for the use with the TLR231092 22X-4 battery mount set of which the rubber strap and hook parts are needed as donor parts. Fitting the braces requires some DIY in the form of the drilling of four mounting holes, however Rusti Design supply a drilling jig with the brace kit. Using the braces will allow for a more professionally looking battery mounting and it required additional hardware in the form of 4-40×3/8” flat head and M3x10mm flat head screws.
T-Works have introduced their new carbon fibre wing buttons for the most popular 1/8 scale off-road kits. The 1-piece wing button is machined from high-quality carbon fibre and it is available in six different specifications to cover Kyosho and Mugen, Team Associated, HB Racing, Agama, Tekno RC, and SWorkz kits. Using them will make for easier wing mounting, improved looks and better wing support, especially when running lightweight polycarbonate wings. The buttons come including gold-coloured mounting hardware.
Coming from Muchmore are their new lightweight Factory Team setup boards for 1/10th and 1/8th scale vehicles. Offering a sandwich hardwood core and plastic cover construction the boards are lightweight and thin while being easy to clean. A replaceable hard plastic sticker ensures the boards can be refurbished easily. The smaller board for 1/12th and 1/10th scale vehicles measures 420x320x12mm and weighs in at 105g while the larger 1/8th scale board measures 500x400x12mm at a weight of 150g.

Following a first teaser image, LCG Racing have fully unveiled their SFX Symmetrical Flex conversion kit for the Yokomo BD10. After months of development and testing, the SFX conversion has already proven its capabilities in the hands of Nicholas Lee. The lightweight 7075 motor mount is designed with durability in mind and it works together with the symmetrical 2-pieces top deck. The design allows the use of the same top decks for both front and rear and it greatly increases the flex options as well as the ease of use. The rigid motor mount, which includes mounting positions for the battery stoppers, minimises longitudinal flex and makes the car more direct at corner entry and exit while increasing corner speed. By having a symmetrical flex design the car is more consistent and easier to drive, while the increased options help to adjust and fine-tune the car‘s setup to almost any track conditions and driving style. The SFX conversion also provides easier swapping of the top decks and better access to the drivetrain. The motor mount design allows the use of large pinion gears for stock racing but also works with large main gears needed for modified classes. Included in the set, that is available from now on, comes the new design motor mount, narrow top decks, top deck screws and 1mm aluminum washers.
