T-Works B6.2/B6.1 carbon fibre shock towers

Coming from T-Works and made for the new Team Associated B6.2 and older specification B6.1 are front and rear carbon fibre shock towers. The front shock stay is usable with the B6.2, B6.2D, B6.1 and B6.1D while the rear variant fits the the B6.2 and B6.2D as well as the B6.1. Both are machined from high-quality carbon fibre and they are of a reinforced design with multiple upper shock mounting locations for fine shock angle adjustment.

Hong Nor X3 GTSe electric GT kit – Coming soon

Hong Nor have announced their all-new X3 GTSe 1/8th scale electric GT on-road kit via a short video released on social media. The vehicle makes use of a lot of machined aluminium, such as the front, centre, and rear bulkheads that are of an open design with the shock towers and upper deck being machined of carbon fibre. The rear end is decked out with a lower diffusor and an 1/8th IC Track style body mount. Full details will become available soon.

RC-Project release new T-Shirt

Coming soon from Italian company RC-Project is their new grey colour T-shirt sporting the blue, white and yellow RC-Project logo. The shirt is made of 100 percent ring-spun cotton, it comes in adult S to XXXL sizes and features colourful logos on the front and back.

Carten M210 Race 4WD M-class on-road kit

MW RC Cars from Austria have introduced the Carten M210 Race 4WD M-class on-road kit. The vehicle builds on the proven M210 and features several useful optionals such as four aluminium oil-filled shock absorbers, two additional gear differentials as well as a set of aluminium wheel hex adapters. The M210R is limited to 100 kits and it will become available shortly.

Yeah Racing IP67 waterproof crawler servo

Yeah Racing have introduced their new IP67 waterproof crawler servo. It features an aluminium upper case and middle section, a coreless motor and IP67 waterproof rating for go everywhere abilities. The servo offers up to 33kg-cm of torque while being pretty speedy at the same time. The case sports a white laser-engraved logo and the servo is available in black, red or blue anodising.

Nathan Flores doubles at Return Trophy Race

This past weekend at Apex RC in middle Tennessee racers came out for the first time in months to return to the great hobby we enjoy. The racers came from Ohio, Georgia, and Kentucky to join in the event. The track staff and owners put a plan in place to make sure everyone was safe and respected amid the C-19 issues. The track was open for a limited time on Saturday for setup, cleaning, and a little practice. As Sunday rolled around the track opened earlier than usual to get guys a chance to shake the cobwebs. Nathan Flores positioned himself in the TQ spot in VTA making improvements to reset his own TQ. And after 3 rounds he was on the pole for the 8-minute main. He would go on to take the victory and in one of the nicest moves to maintain his lead by driving between two cars of lap traffic. Jeff Mobely came in 2nd some 1.1 seconds behind as Brett McGee finished in 3rd overall, already a lap down.

MTS T3M 2020 mid-motor touring car

Coming soon is the MTS T3M 2020 mid-motor electric touring car kit. The car builds on a class-standard carbon fibre double deck chassis construction, however its symmetrical design allows swap the batter and servo, motor and speed controller around which allows more control over the weight bias when conditions are calling for kit. The centre bulkhead and motor mount is made up from two identical brackets that make for a sturdy mid section, shifting twisting points further out for more control over the overall chassis flex. The suspension utilises MTS’ proven carbon fibre plate design with aluminium pivot balls while blade-type front and rear anti-roll bars reduce chassis roll during cornering. The car is also equipped with new ultra short shock absorbers whose inner conical shape makes for a progressive shock action and thus improved car control on very high-bite surfaces while the steering utilises a unique direct drive single bellcrank setup which avoids unwanted influence on chassis tweak during cornering. Other features include widely adjustable chassis flex, a fully adjustable battery mount, a 30mm/40mm fan mount bracket and titanium-nitride-coated 10.9 steel screws. Kingmax B35 & B45 waterproof standard servos

Kingmax have added two new heavy-duty waterproof servos to their lineup in the form of the Diamond Series B35 and B45. The B35 is good for speeds of down to 0.09s/60deg with 35kg-cm of torque at 7.4V input while the B45 offers a speed of down to 0.14s/60deg and up to 45kg-cm of torque. With their green anodised all-aluminium cases they will get the job done in the most demanding applications such as 1/8th nitro off-road and on-road, monster trucks and many more. The features list of the two digital servos also include high-quality potentiometers, precision steel gears, high-quality brushless motors, and dual ball bearings.
