Yokomo YZ-2 graphite front suspension parts

New from Yokomo come graphite suspension parts for the YZ-2 1/10th 2WD buggy. Available are front suspension arms in flat and gullwing specification, C-hubs as well as steering blocks all of which are made in a harder graphite-reinforced composite that was developed with this year’s IFMAR World Championships at the Japanese Yatabe Arena in mind. As for the different design front arms the flat type was developed to offer maximum stability while the gullwing arm gives more steering.

T-Works D812 & Cobra lower shock mount pins

T-Works have new lower shock mount pins for the HB D812 and Serpent Cobra buggies available. Cut from titanium the parts offer a low weight and a high rigidity and the D812 pins also act as anti-roll bar mounts. The shafts come in sets of four pieces.

Exotek Exo22 TLR 22 mid motor chassis sets

Coming from Exotek and made for the TLR 22 and 22 2.0 are two new mid motor chassis sets. Available in an aluminium and a carbon fibre variant the chassis allows for a range of battery layouts including the standard inline and a new lateral shorty position with the latter making the car easy to drive fast. The 3mm 7075 aluminium chassis variant will offer the most stability, traction and the lowest centre of gravity while the carbon fibre variant is very light of weight and very responsive. Both sets make use of new 5mm carbon side rails, they utilise a special easy access carbon fibre LiPo battery mount and the alloy gearbox brace is positioned further back to allow improved rearward battery positioning. The included, machined 7075 alloy nose plate is used for durability reasons and allows inexpensive chassis swaps between alloy and carbon fibre. Due to the larger footprint chassis the conversion requires a Kyosho RB6 compatible bodyshell for better battery clearance.

AKA long wear compound truggy tyres

Coming soon from AKA are the Evo Gridiron and Evo Impact 1/8th truggy tyres in the new long wear compounds. The new long life rubber are available in a familiar Soft and Medium hardness and yield up to 50 percent longer tread life than standard compounds, making them ideal for today’s demanding high-grip, high-speed, and abrasive tracks. The tyres are available as rubber including red inserts and pre-mounted on white or yellow Evo wheels.

SWorkz S104 Evo 1/10th 4WD buggy

Following first S104 Evo prototype images that surfaced back in January SWorkz now have more photos of their forthcoming 1/10th 4WD electric off-road buggy available. Information on the kit are still vague with the only definite features announced yet being the FCSS aluminium chassis, new big bore shock absorbers and a 3-diff drivetrain. Looking at the images the buggy will also sport a floating servo mount, semi-gloss carbon fibre parts and a dedicated electronic layout for shorty LiPo battery packs. More information and images should become available in time for the release in mid-August.

Samix SCX10 aluminium 4-link mount

Coming from Samix and made for the Axial SCX10 is an aluminium 4-link mount. Providing a solid base for the front and rear upper links the machined part is available in the four colours of green, black, silver and gun metal and it features a laser-etched Samix logo.

New Power Star all-black servos

Power Star soon have a range of all-black servo available. The high-voltage compatible PL-2211 (0.094s/24kg-cm), PL-1610 (0.09s/18kg-cm), PL-1408 (0.078s/16kg-cm) as well as the standard voltage PL-1207 (0.074s/12kg-cm) low-profile servo feature plastic cases for a low weight while stainless steel and titanium gears allow for the usage in a wide range of applications from electric to nitro and on-road to off-road. An anti-shock system further adds to the robust design and the black wires make for a factory look.

Motiv RC M-Code Pro Tuned brushless motors

Motiv RC have introduced the M-Code Pro Tuned brushless motors for 1/10th and 1/12th applications. The motors offer a short stack design, specially selected stator material for low power loss and they use high-quality pure copper wire for the windings. Other features include gold-plated solder tabs, a sintered rotor, high-quality neodymium magnet material and all-aluminium, high airflow cans for lower operating temperatures. Every M-Code motor is hand checked, assembled, and packaged by a professional in house at the WI, USA office and included with each motor is an analysis and quality control spec sheet. This Sheet is filled out on a motor to motor basis all threw testing and assembly and includes information unique to your M-Code motor. Available is a range of windings including 3.5T to 8.5T modified and 10.5T to 21.5T stock variants.
