Tekno locking spring perches & rubber shock boots

Tekno RC have new option parts for their line of 1/8th and 1/10th vehicles available. First up is the locking shock rod ends and spring perch set. The all-new design mates up with the company’s new captured shock boots and it will ensure the suspension stays consistent throughout any race or run. The spring perches rest on a shelf around the rod end instead of directly on top of the rod end. The result is less interference from the shock boot and absolutely no sacrifice in up travel. Each spring perch and rod end is also secured by an M3x10mm set screw for added reliability. The rod ends and spring perches are compatible with Tekno’s 1/8th off-road buggies and trucks as well as their 1/10th 4WD SC truck.

SWorkz S350 Evo II kit features & detailed photos

SWorkz have more images and detailed features of their soon-to-be-released S350 Evo II 1/8th nitro buggy kit available. The latest incarnation of the S350 buggy features several improvements such as new 16mm BBS shock absorbers with new soft springs, updated lower A-arms with a new shock geometry as well as Lightened Drive System driveshafts throughout. Included are also LDS compatible front steering knuckles and rear hubs, PSP aluminium upper steering bellcranks, a PSP aluminium throttle linkage set, aluminium upper arm mounts as well an updated fuel tank and an aluminium rear chassis brace mount. Included with the kit also comes the new Falcon II bodyshell.

The newly developed high-performance battery is made from a new generation of very robust Lithium-Polymer cells that does not swell like most of today’s LiPo packs do. The special chemistry of the 80C cells delivers the best possible performance for power-hungry applications such as Modified and Stock touring cars as well as 1/8th off-road vehicles. The battery sports standard dimensions of 138x47x25mm, it weighs in at 330g and it comes with a protective hardcase that incorporates dual 4mm connector tubes.

Arrowmax B-Max4 10 degree aluminium C-hubs

Coming from Arrowmax and made for the Yokomo B-Max4 is 10 degree aluminium C-hub set. The parts are machined from aluminium, they come blue anodised and laser-etched and replace the standard composite hubs with more durable parts for improved crash resistance and a more crisp handling.

Pro-Line Prime 1/10th buggy slick tyre – Preview

Pro-Line Racing soon have the new Prime (semi)slick tyre for 1/10th off-road buggies available. With “Kojack” tyres being a hot ticket in certain indoor track conditions and they previously had to be hand made using grinders or sandpaper, more and more already prepped slick tyres now enter the market. And Pro-Line’s Prime tyre seems to go one step further as it offers a “cut slick” and slightly textured surfaces so by the looks of things it can be used right out of the bag with no break-in time needed. STRC Yeti battery brace & green SCX10 options

ST Racing Concepts introduce an aluminium and graphite battery brace combo for the Axial Yeti and also new green anodised SCX10 aluminium options. Starting with the battery brace set, the parts are made to increase the rigidity of the original battery brace. The design sandwich the plastic piece between an aluminium top insert and a graphite lower back plate in the same dimension and shape as the stock piece which will greatly increase the strength of the whole assembly. This prevents the battery becoming ejecting during hard landings or tumbles. The brace also adds great factory looks and it is available in black, green, gun metal, silver, and web only limited edition Red anodising. As for the SCX10 options, both the aluminium front upper 4-link kits as well as the short wheelbase chassis kit are now also available in green anodising.

HB D413 aluminium shock cap set

Made to increase the reliability of the D413 buggy is the aluminium shock cap set from HB. They are not only stronger than the stock parts, the design also allows to choose between bladder and emulsion type shocks to fine-tune the dampers according to the track conditions. Included in the set are two black anodised aluminium shock cabs with bleeder holes and bleeder screws, shock bladders and mounting hardware. Two sets are needed to fully outfit the buggy and the set is also compatible with the optional 12mm HB big bore shocks.
