17th annual Snowbird Nationals – Announcement

The dates and location for the upcoming 17th annual Snowbird Nationals are now official. Indoor carpet oval racing and carpet road racing will be taking place inside the Radisson Resort in sunny Orlando, Florida. With classes for everyone, and attendance by all the top teams and drivers from around the world, makes this one exciting race you can not miss. Hupo Honigl doubles up at Snowbirds

At the 2010 Snowbird Nationals in Orlando, Florida, Hupo Hönigl continued his hot streak that started in Vegas in September 09. Hupo was Top Qualifier in both the 1:12th 10.5 class and the 1:10th WGT class with his CRC rides. In the hotly contested World GT class, Hupo took his CRC Gen-X 10 right off the track from his win in Cleveland and continued his victorious ways in Orlando. Touring Mod Rubber added to Snowbirds

The 2010 Snowbird Nationals classes are now posted, and this year features the addition of Touring Modified Rubber to the lineup. Racers will be dueling it out in eight road classes and eight oval classes this year, which is less divisions than year’s past, making for bigger car counts and more racing excitement. 2010 Snowbird Nationals – Update

The organizers of the 2010 Snowbird Nationals were in contact again to let everyone know that the 16th annual ‘Speed Week’ racing schedule is now posted. Featuring the first ‘RC Racing Golf Tournament’ and the first pre-race ‘Pool Party’ with band this year, both help kick off a great week of racing action. 2010 Snowbird Nationals – Announcement

…let everyone know that they have finalized all the details for next years event and that everything is official for the 16th running of this great event. Taking place from the 26th to the 31st of January, it will once again be held at the Radisson Resort in Orlando, Florida. The rules and classes are expected to be announced around October with the entry for the race opening in November. 2009 Snowbird Nationals – Entries Open

Mike Blackstock wins US Indoor Champs

Long established as one of the premiere 1/12th scale races, ‘Cleveland’ as it’s known in the racing community, saw Mike Blackstock take the newly crowned World Champion Associated 12R5 to pole position and the overall win in the Modified 1/12th Class. Mike, a long time 1/12th and ‘t-bar car’ racer, used the stock ‘link’ setup to master the fast and flowing Indoor Champs layout.
