Coming from Yeah Racing and made for the Axial SCX24 mini-size trail truck are new brass wheel hubs. Weighing in at 15g per piece, the hubs will add weight directly to the wheels, ensuring improved overall traction and better climbing and ascending performance compared to the lightweight standard parts. The hubs are a direct fit and they come as pairs including metal bushings.
Traxxas have introduced their new heavy-duty chassis brace for the Slash 4×4 Ultimate and all Rustler 4×4 models. Made from thick extruded aluminium, the oval-shaped brace increases torsional rigidity and dramatically strengthens the chassis to reduce flex. Brilliantly anodised in four high-impact colours, the HD chassis brace provides structural reinforcement for high loads and hard landings. The brace is a direct fit on the Slash 4×4 Ultimate, any 4×4 Slash equipped with the low-CG chassis, and it also fits all Rustler 4×4 trucks.
Yeah Racing have introduced their new brass portal axle covers for the Axial Racing SCX10 III and Capra trail trucks. Weighing in at 20g per piece, the covers add a good amount of extra weight to the wheels area, improving climbing and descending performance over the standard composite parts while also reinforcing the axle area. The covers come as pairs and sport an engraved YR logo.
Following a couple of teasers on social media, Pro-Line have unveiled their new Pro-Series 32P transmission for the Traxxas Slash 2WD and Stampede 2WD trucks. Pro-Line’s engineers made sure to carry over all the things from the original that made it the most popular and loved upgrade to the Slash 2WD while making it even stronger and more capable of handling today’s extreme power systems. Whether racing or bashing, this Transmission is destined to become the ultimate performance upgrade for the truck. Pro-Line has done the work and pre-assembled the transmission to get owners up and running faster. The sealed differential has been pre-filled with grease but can be tuned with optional diff oil to suit any application. The updated racing-style slipper system has been pre-set for proper performance and can be adjusted to dial in the initial take off traction.
Carisma Scale Adventure have introduced their new V2 alloy and carbon fibre steering knuckle set for the SCA-1E trail trucks. When progressing from trail running to full on rock crawling, often a rig’s limiting factors aren’t its articulation, or the grip its tyres can generate, or even its weight bias. Approach angle, break over angle and departure angle have a more direct effect on what it can crawl up, over and away from. Carisma have therefore developed and field tested a new high clearance alloy and carbon fibre V2 steering knuckle, offering 17.5 mm more forward clearance to the steering link, and additionally raising it 9.2 mm higher than the stock RTR or kit steering knuckles. This improves the rig’s approach angle, lifts the steering link above the centreline of the front axles diff housing, and still allows good steering deflection and steering throw.
Coming from Axial is their new SCX10 III Jeep JT Gladiator RTR truck. While continuing to incorporate key components that have made SCX10 vehicles successful, the SCX10 III chassis increases realism with details that include a replica V8 engine to house the front-mounted 540 brushed motor, mated to a realistic transmission housing and transfer case like a 1:1 vehicle. The Spektrum DX3 3-channel 2.4GHz DSMR transmitter and Firma 40A ESC/receiver are also ready to give owners the advantages of innovative Spektrum Smart technology. Out of the box, the SCX10 III Jeep JT Gladiator transmission offers a third-channel DIG function that lets drivers lock the rear axle from the transmitter for front wheel drive and a tighter turning radius. Though locked out from the factory, drivers can set up the vehicle to have a 40 percent faster second gear instead of DIG — or, by adding another micro servo and using a radio with at least four channels, have simultaneous access to both the DIG and two-speed functions.
Coming from Kingmax is their new K8S ultra high torque standard size high-performance servo. Utilising an all-new and patented geartrain the servo is capable of up to 88kg-cm of torque and transit times of of down to 0.10 seconds. The CNC-machined all-aluminium case measures 40x20x38.7mm and the servo is equipped with a high-quality brushless motor, durable steel gears, and dual ball bearings. Water protection makes for go-everywhere capabilities, making it ideal for demanding applications such as monster trucks, large scale vehicles and many more.
Yeah Racing have introduced their new aluminium hi-clearance lower links for the Tamiya CC02 trail truck. The links increase suspension efficiency, as opposed to the stock plastic links which might bend and create instability. The specially shaped links also give more clearance whilst tackling difficult terrain. The set includes four links for the front and rear suspension.
