Element RC have introduced their new Enduro24 Sendero ready-to-run trail truck. Whether it’s outside on the trail or in the comfort of the own living room, there’s no doubt this little rig will overcome the challenge. This small-scale, 4-wheel-drive crawler comes equipped with many features found on larger size rigs. Full-time 4-wheel-drive transmission with divorced transfer case, metal vertical chassis rails, and 4-link suspension ensure climbing over obstacles will be a breeze. Providing power and control is a 2-in-1 receiver/ESC, 2-channel radio, powerful servo, and single-cell LiPo. Just install the batteries, charge, and go. Right out of the box, the Enduro24 RTR is ready for adventure where front and rear injection-moulded 4-link suspension allows for smooth articulation to crawl over rough terrain. The chassis-mounted servo provides maximum steering while maintaining scale looks. Crawl, grip and climb over obstacles with black, injection-moulded single-piece rims wrapped in soft compound rubber tyres. The forward-mounted motor puts the heaviest part of the rig over the front tires. This forward-bias weight keeps the front tires on the ground and provides better front grip during ascents. The divorced transfer case provides a lower centre of gravity in a compact space. Not only does this combination perform well, it also adds scale realism, allowing for plenty of room should you want to add a custom body or interior.
RPM have announced the release of new lower A-arms for the Traxxas Rally ST and Telluride kits. The ideal was to create a more durable option for the standard arms and what RPM came up with is a blending of design between their extremely popular Slash 4×4 A-arms and an all-new design specifically for the Rally ST and Telluride. As for improvements, RPM eliminated the slop in the suspension system, tightened the tolerances around the hinge pins, reduced the fore and aft movement of the A-arm at both the inner hinge pin and at the axle carriers and improved the durability dramatically. As a bonus, our A-arms are lighter than stock as well. They are also more aesthetically appealing as they carry over RPM’s traditional A-arm design with their 30 degrees leading and trailing edges and huge bosses for the shock and sway bar mounts. The A-arms are moulded in RPM’s blend of durable nylons and are designed, manufactured and produced in the USA.
Coming from Yeah Racing and made for the Tamiya CC02 kit is a brake disc wheel adapter set. The discs incorporate a hex wheel adapter and feature a vented looks for improved visual appearance. Included in the set are also fake callipers that attach to the axles and hubs and as they don’t rotate, they make for a more authentic look. The set is available with red or blue anodised callipers.
Redcat have introduced their new XR247 Axle Kit with pre-assembled front and rear trussed axles. The axles feature integrated heavy-duty double-sheer mounting points, integrated trusses, steel internal axle tube inserts, diamond shaped pumpkins, CNC aluminium spools, one piece pinion gear and a 2.91:1 gear ratio. They are a welcomed upgrade to many shaft-driven crawlers and rock racers and scratch builders will also be pleased by their strength and performance when fitted to their competitive monster trucks, trail rigs and scale builds.
Redcat have announced the release of their new Wendigo 1/10th scale rock racer kit. The kit allows the RC enthusiast to build the competitive rock racer the way they want it. The Wendigo Builder’s Kit includes a complete unassembled chassis, wheels, tyres, clear body, and additional scale accessories. The kit is loaded with high end features and components, like its competition inspired weight distribution. The front mounted position for the motor and transmission, along with its centrally located battery tray and divorced transfer case provide excellent front to rear weight distribution for confidence inspiring driving. The kit’s 1.5mm steel ladder-type frame rails provide a sturdy backbone for this vehicle. The wheelbase is adjustable from 334.7mm to 358.7mm, with 346.7mm being the stock configuration. The gear boxes feature Mod1 gears and ball bearings. The heavy duty telescoping driveshafts provide reliable power delivery to the front and rear trussed axle housings with diamond shaped pumpkins. The diamond-shaped central axle housing easily slides over obstacles and the CNC aluminium spool, along with a one-piece pinion gear, can handle heavy weight, big power and aggressive driving. Steel internal axle tube inserts add low CG weight and prevent axle flex.
Coming from Yeah Racing and made for the Tamiya CC02 truck are and aluminium upper link set as well as a centre link mount. As for the link set, the kit includes four machined and blue anodised upper aluminium links that greatly reduce suspension flex for improved handling and predictability when navigating through challenging terrain. The links come laser-engraved with white YR logos and also includes are suitable ball cups and ball ends.
Made for Arrma’s popular Kraton 8S and Outcast 8S trucks are new heavy-duty front upper and lower A-arms coming from RPM. The Arrma Kraton 8S and Outcast 8S are 12kg of high-flying, dirt shredding, jump-killing fun and RPM’s replacement front A-arms are designed with the backyard basher in mind and can handle some serious abuse and come back for more. The redesigned front lower A-arms have a triple beam style construction designed to spread impact energy across all three beams. Each beam’s cross-section is 15.8mm tall and 9.5mm wide. These massive beams reduce unwanted flex during normal suspension movement, yet allow impact-absorption during those not-so-perfect landings and crashes. RPM also moved the inner cross brace away from the chassis, eliminating the droop stop entirely. While this may seem counter-intuitive, RPM’s test truck’s chassis was bent at the droop stops, clearly illustrating that extreme impacts were too much for the chassis plate to handle. After all, there’s not much worse than a bent chassis. The front upper A-arms use a dual beam construction where each beam is 12.7mm tall and 9.5mm wide. The designers eliminated the tube shape over the hinge pin to eliminate built-in moulding stresses while beefing up the leading edge hinge pin support to add some much needed strength and durability. Both upper and lower A-arms are moulded with fingernail slots that allow easy access to remove the optional aluminium support ring at the pivot ball. The arms are made in the USA from RPM’s trademark blend of ultra durable materials and they are available as left and right side sets.
Yeah Racing have announced the release of their new heavy-duty centre driveshaft set for the Axial SCX10 III trail truck. The kit includes steel telescope-style centre-front and centre-rear driveshafts that feature a back surface coating for wear and spring-retained cross pins for durability. Also included come suitable couplers. Using the HD driveshafts will reinforce the drivetrain, ensuring dependable power supply in challenging terrain or when using high-powered motors.
