Yeah Racing WR02 aluminium muffler set

Yeah Racing have announced the release of their new mock-up mufflers for the Tamiya WR02 and WR02CB kits. Machined from aluminium and coming in black or silver colour the mufflers make a statement plus they help to add a bit of weight which is beneficial when pulling wheelies. The mufflers are a direct fit and they include mounting hardware.

Yokomo YD-2 limited edition purple anodised alloy parts

Yokomo have announced the soon release of purple anodised aluminium optionals for the YD-2 RWD drift car. The range includes items such adjustable H rear and A front arms as well as suspension mounts with inserts, from upper arms as well as a front bumper brace. All parts are machined from high-quality aluminium with the lower arm sets also including mounting hardware and setup optionals. The purple anodised parts are a limited edition run and they will hit stores very soon.

Tamiya TT-02 Audi Quattro Rally A2 kit

Tamiya have announced the soon release of their 1983 Audi Quattro Rally A2 kit on the proven TT-02 entry-level 4WD chassis kit. The highlight of the kit is the finely recreated Quattro body with its moulded side mirrors, rear wing and fog lap clusters that give the iconic rally monster the aggressive appearance it is known for. A detailed sticker sheet helps to recreate the iconic Audi motorsports colours and the chassis is decked out with 5-spoke wheels and rally tread pattern tyres. The chassis itself offers symmetrical suspension arms, easy-to-maintain gearboxes as well as ten possible gear ratios. It can be upgraded using a variety of aftermarket parts and the kit will hit stores in mid-July.

Yokomo YD-2 slider rack aluminium servo horn

Yokomo have announced the release of an aluminium servo horn specially designed for the steering slider rack of the YD-2 drift car. The 23mm servo arm features an optimised length and offset to match the steering’s unique geometry while offering improved rigidity and durability for a more precise steering feeling. The servo horn comes black anodised and in 23T or 25T servo spline specification.

JConcepts 1966 Chevy C10 step-side body shell

Coming from JConcepts is the 1966 Chevy C10 step-side body shell for street eliminator body shell. Designed of 1/10th SCT trucks using drag racing tyres and Street Eliminator narrow suspension chassis setups, the body resembles the iconic Chevy C10 truck. It has character and style, lower stance was emphasized by an attractive, pinched-waist body featuring “jet pod” eyebrows over the grille. Sizeable front chin-spoiler, large front hood-scoop, high-operation 60’s style cab with rear flange for authentic looks. The rear of the truck has a step-side style bed and the entire design is multi-faceted. The rear fenders have built-in clearance for a large assortment of drag racing rear tyres including the JConcepts #3194 Hotties rear SCT tyre. The body shell also has the identifiable flat rear tailgate area and built-in connection points for the oversized rear wing option. The truck can be used with or without the rear roll-bar option and “ultra” rear wing setup. Many pieces make up the Chevy C10 and can be tailored to the customer needs or focal point of the build. The body measures a 13” wheelbase and the inside dimensions of the body are 11.75” front and 12.00” rear width. The body is built for a 2WD SCT wheelbase length and fits standard SCT width chassis layouts and suspension using drag racing tyres and wheels. Included with the truck comes the multi-piece Ultra rear wing as well as window masks and a decal sheet.

Azarashi Type-GT34 210mm M-class body shell

Coming soon from Team Azarashi is the Type-GT34 body shell for 210mm M-class touring cars. Resembling the iconic Nissan Skyline R34, the comic-type body is ideal for racing and show alike, fitting most of today’s 210mm wheelbase M-class 2WD and 4WD touring cars. The body comes made of high-quality polycarbonate and it includes a rear wing and a decal sheet.

Arrma Limitless 1/7th scale Speed Bash roller

Building on the same on-road speed chassis as the Infraction truck, Arrma’s new Limitless 1/7th scale 4WD speed machine is an extreme bashing vehicle, designed for top speeds of over 120km/h. Made for the use on asphalt, concrete and even loose gravel or short grass, the car is bash-hardened and fully customisable, allowing to tune the aerodynamic balance to meet the owner’s requirements. The car builds on a 3mm aluminium main chassis with 2-diff drivetrain and it features dual battery compartments, lots of space for capable speed controllers and motors and it utilises a fully adjustable suspension with threaded aluminium big bore shock absorbers for best possible traction and side bite. Belted slick tyres on aerodynamic disk rims ensure exceptional performance on smooth surfaces and the tuneable aerodynamics include an easy-to-trim rear wing as well as a widely adjustable front wing to tune the front downforce and drag level. The under chassis aerodynamics have received special attention from the design team as the chassis and rear diffusor are integrated for slick underside airflow. The car comes factory assembly and without electronics with most 1/8th scale motors, speedos and standard-size servos being usable to maximise speed and performance. The car is decked out by a pre-painted and pre-decorated speed car body shell.

Tamiya TBLM-02S 17.5T & 21.5T brushless motors

Tamiya have announced the soon release of their new TBLM-02S sensored 17.5T and 21.5T brushless motors. Maintenance-free and featuring dual ball races for efficiency the motors are ideal for both on-road and off-road vehicles where drivability and long run times are called for. The 17.5T/2200kV variant is ideal for touring cars, M-Chassis, Formula and Buggy kits while the 21.5T/1800kV variant basically covers the same applications, however its lower speed makes for an easier to drive car. The motors are usable with virtually every 540-class sensored brushless speed controller.
