KO Propo RSx3 One10 Ver.D 2WD drift servo

Coming soon from KO Propo is the RSx3 One10 Ver.D servo, a dedicated item for RWD drift cars. It is based off of the popular RSx3 series of low-profile servos and features an aluminium upper case with laser-engraved markings and a specialised software that allows for smooth steering reactions even when using a drift gyro. In addition five pre-set software settings, accessible through KO Propo’s ICS Servo Manager software, help to fine-tune the steering characteristics for sport and pro drivers alike. The package is rounded out by dual ball bearings, a coreless motor, hard aluminium gears and a black servo lead.

RC Atomic DRZ 1/28th scale drift chassis

Coming soon from RC Atomic is their DRZ 1/28th scale RWD drift chassis kit. The suspension is adjustable in terms of camber, caster and toe angle and it is understood that it will come including a drift gyro and that it utilises Kyosho body shells. The carbon fibre chassis kit is set for a release in February and more information and images should become available in time for the release.

Atomic IS2 1/28th scale touring car body shell

Atomic have introduced their new IS2 lightweight polycarbonate body shell for 98mm wheelbase 1/28th scale touring cars. The body is moulded after its larger 1/10th scale siblings and comes including rear wing, window masks and a decal sheet. The lid fits the AMZ BZ 2017 micro touring car as well as many other 1/28th scale chassis.

Kyosho FWD Mini-Z micro cars

Kyosho have introduced their new FWD Mini-Z cars. The first Mini-Z Racer chassis with front wheel drive positions the motor behind the front axle in a front midship layout while a new circuit board with newly developed control program realises dramatically improved steering feel. A full set of twelve ball bearings makes for an efficient driveline of the MA-03F chassis and the cars are compatible with the optional gyro unit. The sets are rounded out by the newly developed Syncro KT-531P transmitter that provides a full range of setting adjustments as well as highly detailed display-standard Mazda Demio body shells.

Kyosho Inferno GT2 Race Spec Dodge Challenger Demon

Kyosho America have released first images of the forthcoming Inferno GT2 Race Spec 2018 Dodge Challenge SRT Demon 1/8th RTR GT kit. One of the most powerful full-scale American Muscle cars to date, Kyosho’s Challenger SRT Demon is based on Kyosho’s popular Inferno GT2 Race Spec chassis that features a KE25 big blog nitro engine, 2-speed gearbox, large volume shock absorbers and sturdy suspension components. The car comes factory-assembled, including a 2.4GHz radio system and it will hit stores in February 2018.

HPI Racing SCM-2S waterproof speed controller

HPI Racing’s SCM-2S WP is a small and powerful electronic brushed motor speed controller that is suitable for micro RC vehicles of all types. Traxxas 1/8 Funny Car Special Edition

Coming from Traxxas is their new 1/8th scale Special Edition Funny Car. The RTR vehicle is based on the company’s standard Funny Car but features a vast amount of upgrades such as GTR shock absorbers with PTFE-coated aluminium bodies and titanium-nitride coated shock shafts, it comes with lightweight 7075-T6 aluminium wheel spindles and anodised 6061-T6 aluminium steering blocks and rear suspension link mounts. The car is available with red or blue anodised alloy parts and it also includes a Race Replica ProGraphix painted body, a 4-channel TQi 2.4GHz rado system with Traxxas Stability Management as well as the Castle Creation powered ET-3s brushless power system.

Tamiya Porsche Turbo RSR 934 Black Edition TA-02SW

Coming in January is Tamiya’s re-release Porsche Turbo RSR Type 934 Black Edition on the iconic TA-02SW chassis. The chassis is the short wheelbase variant of Tamiya’s renown shaft-driven 4WD tub chassis that pretty much started the 190mm touring car crash back in the 1990’s. No official details are available yet but they are expected to surface in time for the release.
