KO Propo together will their UK distributor RC Disco have released a new version of the EX-5UR radio set which brings down the price of this high spec entry level radio to just under £100. The new price has been achieved by supplying the radio with a two channel KR-210S receiver rather than the two previously included 2.4Ghz 3 channel RX units. As most racers never use the third channel, the new radio set does not compromise their performance as the transmitter still has the full range of adjustments & seven model memory.
Due to be introduced at the Tokyo Hobby Show this weekend, KO Propo will release the EX-10 Eurus, 2.4GHz pistol grip radio which features the company’s Direct Digital System (D.D.S). This new system employs high quality communication by removing the data and time loss caused by digital to analog conversion which results in 300% better response when compared to a conventional system. A newly designed 3D trigger allows for moving the brake trigger, meaning fingers of different sizes and operation are supported. ICS Settings of the Eurus body as well as PDS series of servos and VFS series of ESCs can all be set up through the module pack using the multi setting adapter with optional cards. Expect it to start shipping in December.
Debuting at the toy Fair last month KO Propo have announced that their PDS-2345 ICS Digital Servo is now available. This is their new regular sized high speed digital servo designed for electric touring cars. Pricing has come down on this servo due to not having the machined heat sink, while the gears in the servo are metal with their hybrid first gear and KO’s programming capabilities. Also now available is the company’s ICS Multi Setting Adapter & Mini-Z 2.4GHz Setting Card, which allows the users of the Kyosho 2.4GHz Mini-Z to program changes of the car. Includes the hand setting adapter, card and cable.
