FTW RB6 Nanofox bodyshell

Stealth facets that define FTW style are fused with Grand Prix inspiration to cloak an all-business forward cab and impossibly low profile side pods with style. Like all FTW body shells, fitment is immaculate and most popular electronic suites are easily housed inside. The unique side pod profiles provide an ideally positioned air inlet opportunity. The body is formed from clear .030” polycarbonate and fits the buggy in both mid and rear- motor configurations, it includes moulded cut lines for each configuration as well as two .040 Fulcrum wings, a decal sheet, and window masks.

Awesomatix GD2 gear differential internals

German Awesomatix distributor Shepherd Micro Racing introduced a brand new metal gear set for the new Awesomatix GD2 differential which comes without any internals. Already successfully tested by Freddy Südhoff and Max Mächler using the gear set results in a very smooth and durable diff action. The set includes six gears as well as two hard-coated 7075-T6 aluminium diff pins. Included are also all needed shims. The GD2 diff set fits all A700 models.

Date change for EFRA TC Euros

Date change for EFRA TC Euros

The EFRA announced several updated for three of this year’s European Championships one of which is a date change for the 2014 European Electric Touring Car Championships in Spain. Due to permission problems beyond control of the organisers and the EFRA set a new date for the 21st to 24th of August. The organiser and also AECAR as well as EFRA apologize for any inconvenience caused by this date change due to reasons which were not foreseeable.

Titan 1/8th on-road setup system

Team Titan introduce this setup system for 1/8th on-road cars. CNC-machined from aluminium and coming black anodised the fully ball-raced gauges help to precisely set the camber and toe angles of nearly any modern 1/8th chassis. The front and rear horizontal plates resemble tyre diameters of 67mm in the front and 74mm in the rear and the system comes in a protective bag for easy transportation and storage.

Carlos Duraes joins Team Serpent

Serpent announce that top Portuguese off-road driver, Carlos Duraes has joined their talented team of drivers. He will race the company’s Cobra 1/8th buggy and will also assist in the development of the Cobra buggy platform. His key races for 2014 are the NEO Race, the European and World Championships and also the Portuguese nats beside other major buggy races in Europe. Additionally Carlos will have outings with Serpent’s 1/8th and 1/10th electric buggies.

Paul Lemieux joins Team Hobbywing

Team Hobbywing welcomes Paul Lemieux to the team. The multiple US National Champion will exclusively use Hobbywing speed controllers in all his electric cars in 2014. This is what Paul has to say about the deal:

I am excited to race Hobbywing speed controllers in all my cars for the 2014 season. In testing the product I feel like it is a very solid speed controller. I also feel like Hobbywing as a company and team has good knowledge in this department which is something that I tend to lack personally, so I am looking forward to learning a lot.
