Pro-Line have released their all new Pin Point buggy rear & Wedge 2wd Buggy front Carpet Tires. The Pin Point has thousands of Ultra-Sharp Pins in a unique Sine Wave pattern that grip the carpet better than Velcro. The Wedge has a true drop-in bead that does not require cutting or hand fitting and is super narrow and low-profile. The Hook shaped pins provide all the steering you can handle without being grabby. ZZracing HB D8 aluminium front spindle

ZZracing have released this aluminium front spindle for the HB D8. CNC machined from premium 7075 T6 aluminum they are hard coated for extra durability and long life. Simple to adjust roll centers, in hard turns the steering can be more fluid and turn faster. This part also fits the Vorza & Apache C1.

JConcepts SC10 body mount grommet with leash

JConcepts introduce the SC10 body mount grommet with leash. Made specifically for the height adjustable, extended .200” diameter body mounts, the silicone rubber based grommet cushions the body and retains the body clip for the most user friendly experience. The body mount grommet has the JConcepts.net logo embossed on the leash portion and the units are available in 3 different colors, blue, black and clear. The body mount grommet is designed specifically for the original SC10 body mounts but can be used on other vehicles with similar geometry.

Lars Hoppe takes Rd2 in Northern Germany

Last weekend the 2nd round of the North German Championship took place at the MACH Hamburg track. Saturday started with free practise on a slippery track but the traction got better and better during the day. Already in practise the Shepherd/Sonic drivers Lars Hoppe and Timo Schröder had a good pace which they kept all weekend. In qualfying Lars took the TQ spot with his Sonic powered Velox V8 Pro in front of Timo using the same pacakge and Ingo Bobrowski in third. As the tyre wear was quite high a smooth driving style was required for the final. After the start Lars immediately pulled away followed by Timo and Ingo. Lap by lap he increased the lead and never looked back. After 30min he crossed the finishing line in first position followed by Timo in 2nd with Ingo completing the podium.

Mike Gosvig wins Rd3 of Danish TC Nats

The 3rd round of the Danish National Championships, under the official motorsports federation DASU, where held last Sunday at the former Euros track in Glostrup, just outside the capital Copenhagen. The weather forecast showed mixed conditions, (just like last time where we drowned) after 2 weeks of full sun. The practice day before the race was fine most of the day, giving drivers lots of opportunities to find a good setup, at least for dry conditions. In the SuperStock class there were several good drivers who could fight for the win, especially since 2 drivers from Modified changed to the SuperStock class for this race. The race day started with lots of sun, and a dry track with perfect conditions for racing. It was Søren Boy Holst who managed to drive his T.O.P. Photon EX around the technical track, in the fastest time of the day, followed by Mike Gosvig, and Lars Holm.

Bridgewater, Wilde & Hudson win Northwest SC Nationals

The 2013 Northwest Short Course Nationals were held for the fourth year in Pasco, WA. Many of the region’s best short course drivers make their way to this event every year to do battle. This year’s layout was fast and with plenty of technical features on the all clay racing surface. Chris Bridgewater would insert his early dominance in both the Modified 2WD SC Truck class and the SC Buggy classes, taking TQ in both classes after just two rounds using the qual points system with JConcepts teammates Justin Wilde, John Walentia, and Mike Hudson joining the highly competitive Modified 2wd SC Truck A Main. Meanwhile Mike Hudson was showing his speed in the 4×4 SC class, nipping at the heels of the TQ but having to settle for the 2 spot on the grid.
