2010 BeNeLux championships – Announcement

Model Race Genk vzw. in Belgium have been in touch to tell everyone about the BeNeLux championships which will be organized on their new track in Genk from the 24th to the 25th of July. This race is driven in 2 classes, 1/8th and 1/10th 200mm, following EFRA rules for the technical specifications and the race organization. The all new 287 meter long track is built to an internationals spec and so features all the facilities you should expect from such a venue. Vampire Racing range of tools

The new Vampire Racing tools are designed to the highest possible standards, with high quality knurled black anodised aluminium handles. The heat treated tool tips are hard-wearing and easy on even smallest hexes and are available to fit the popular hex sizes 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm and 3.0mm as well as 5.5mm and 7.0mm nuts. Tips are available separately should you ever need a replacement or want to upgrade your existing tools.

enRoute Berg 2.2 Nano Tracer competition crawler

Brand new from enRoute comes the Berg 2.2 Nano Tracer competition crawler. Featuring a new lightweight carbon dual frame chassis and new “Nano” gear box design for high rotation brushless motor, the axle parts are same of Berg 2.2 V2 axles and Berg 2.2 Tracer chassis kit. The kit includes the new Berg 2.2 Nano axles, upper and lower carbon chassis frame, clear body plate shell, however the wheels and tires are sold separately.

HPI range of Plazma LiPo packs

HPI’s new range of Plazma Lithium-polymer batteries are designed to be the ideal match for HPI electric cars and trucks that require a long-lasting battery pack featuring reliable LiPo technology. A race-legal sealed plastic case protects the batteries from crash damage and every pack comes with a balancing plug to keep the cells matched, and giant silicone wires with Deans plugs for maximum power and minimum plug loss. Available in an 11.1V 3800mAh version, which is a perfect fit for the Savage Flux HP, while the 7.4V rectangular case 5300mAh and the rounded 4000mAh packs are great for a whole host of other electric powered cars from TC to buggy.

Robitronic expand Platinum 1/8th BL motor range

Having released their range of Platinum 1/8th brushless motors back in February, Robitronic have now released a 9.5T and 10.5T version to add to the already available 6.5T, 7.5T and 8.5T versions. Featuring a sensored design for smoother response over non sensored versions, the timing is mechanically adjustable for fine tuning the motor’s performance to different track conditions. Sporting a sintered neodymium rotor with the now standard 5mm diameter shaft for use with regular 1/8th pinions, it comes supplied with a heatsink and ventilator.
