Racers Edge now have a line of aluminium and carbon fibre option parts available for their Pro 2 short course truck. Available are a front and rear carbon fibre shock tower as well as rear chassis plate to increase stiffness over the stock plastic parts for a more efficient working suspension and a more predictive handling. The multi angle castor blocks and rear hubs increase the durability of the truck and aid in fine-tuning the setup. Other aluminium parts available include clamp-type wheel hexes, aluminium rear suspension mounts and a front bulkhead.
MIP introduce the aluminium steering posts for the Losi SCTE 4WD short course truck. They are CNC machined from 7075 aluminium and come turquoise anodized and laser marked for that distinctive high class look and factory feeling. They are a direct replacement for the stock steel posts and are precision machined for best bearing fit and increased bearing life. Fits MIP Pro4mance enhanced Losi SCTE and standard Losi SCTE kits and rolling chassis.
ST Racing Concepts have released a number of new optional parts starting with some new CNC machined aluminium steering knuckle for the Associated SC10/B4/T4 along with aluminium hex adapters. The knuckles are a direct bolt on for SC10RS vehicles and works for those that want to convert to inboard style front steering knuckles. The hex adapters for the SC10/T4 are designed to work with the inboard steering knuckle setup. Available in blue, gun metal, red and silver. CNC machined aluminium rear chassis “L” Brackets for the Slash 2wd LCG conversion kit replace the 4 spacers that connect the lower chassis to the rear deck of the conversion kit making the truck more rigid in this connection area and also less likely to loose during dis-assembly and maintenance.
Team C Racing introduce updated aluminium shock absorbers for the TS4 and TS4TE line of 4WD short course trucks. Coming with threaded 12mm shock bodies, titanium-nitride coated shock shafts and spring cups with dirt escape holes the updated shocks also feature new plastic composite upper shock caps with bleeder hole option for added tuneability and more setup options. Available as front and rear shocks that also fit many other vehicles.
Pro-Line introduce the Pro-2 LCG chassis kit for the Slash 2WD truck. The kit contains a tough, hard anodised 7075 aluminium chassis plate that allows for adjustable weight bias, durable servo mounts and steering posts as well as jet fighter inspired side pods and bumpers for that overall racy look. The chassis design does away with the stock ‘channel’ and significantly lowers the centre of gravity for improved on track performance.
JConcepts introduce their popular 10 spoke Hazard wheels for the Traxxas Slash 2WD and 4×4 line of trucks. The 12mm hex wheels come in black, white or yellow colour as rims only or pre-mounted with JC’s green compound Subcultures or 3Ds tires. Also new is the Monroe carbon fibre battery brace for the Traxxas Slash 4×4. Made from 2.5mm material the brace makes for a secure fit and stylish of flat case battery packs such as Traxxas NiMH, Reedy WolfPack LiPo and Venom 3S LiPo packs. Included with the brace comes a protective foam pad.

The Tekno RC Big Bone driveshaft and outdrives for the Slash 4×4 and Stampede 4×4 solves the many issues associated with the stock center driveline. First off it’s fat yet it’s still extremely lightweight. It’s a dog bone rather than a simple splined shaft and as such will not bind, split, or bend the way the stock shaft does. The laser etched shaft is machined from high quality aluminium and anodized for incredible wear. Newly designed hardened steel outdrives on either end replace the weaker stock parts for the ultimate center driveline available for the Slash 4×4 and Stampede 4×4 vehicles.
