VP-Pro Crosspass 1/10 buggy tyre

Available from May are the VP-Pro Crosspass 1/10th buggy rear tyres. Making use of the horseshoe tread introduced with the Friction tyre, the Crosspass features additional connecting crosses to reduce pin flexing for more stable and predictable handling on hard packed track surfaces. This creates a continuous line pattern across the entire surface of the tyre for unsurpassed stability, grip, and tread life. For extra traction and quicker break-in, the Crosspass also has tapered pins and alternating horizontal and vertical friction bars to allow some pin flexing. This provides even more side bite and forward bite on dusty hard packed blue-groove surfaces. The tyre will be available in VP-Pro’s medium, soft, and X-super soft compounds with or without closed cell inserts.

Exotek XB4 9.5mm & 12mm hex wheel adapters

New from Exotek Racing come three hex wheel adapter sets for the XB4 line of Xray buggies. First up is the 9.5mm front hex set that allows the use of B44.2 style front wheels in case you wish to use an old stock of Team Associated or Losi front rims. The machined hubs come with 2mm steel pins and set screws to lock the hex in place. Designed with the same intention is the 5.5mm wide 12mm hex hub set for the front of the XB4, that helps to mount 12mm hex wheels such as the ones from Kyosho. Last but not least are 9mm wide 12mm hex hubs for Team Associated, Losi or similar wheels. All sets are available in orange or black colour.

Xray XB8 composite rear mud guards

Xray introduce these rear mud guards for the XB8 buggy. Made from a tough composite material the parts help to protect the rear driveshafts and shock absorbers from collecting an excessive amount of mud or grass when running on wet tracks. The parts mount directly to the wishbones and come as pair.

JConcepts B5M Silencer bodyshell

JConcepts introduce the Silencer bodyshell for the Team Associated B5M mid motor 2WD buggy. Sporting the well-known Silencer design features the body sports a mild cab forward design, a roof top shark fin and an extremely low profile appearance. Made from clear polycarbonate the body comes including window masks, decal sheet and two 6.5″ Hi-Clearance wings.

Revolution Design RB6 slipper plate set

Revolution Design Racing Products introduce the RB6 Slipper Plate Set for Kyosho’s RB6 2WD buggy and RT6 2WD stadium truck. The plates are CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminium, come hard anodised and with a hardcoated surfaces for added rigidity and super long life. Being of a vented design they make for a more consistent and reliable slipper action in every racing condition. They sport laser-etched RDRP logos and are available now.

Hudy now have a long blade 3.0mm slotted screwdriver available. Coming with a lightweight composite handle and a hand-made Hudy spring steel tip the screwdriver is ideal for nitro engine carburettor adjustment duties due to its long design that helps to reach the carb needles of off-road vehicles even with a truggy body fitted.

German company Xcite RC introduce their new line of EnergyXXL hardcase LiPo battery packs. Coming in protective hardcases the packs are built from the latest high-performance 80C cells for the lowest possible internal resistance and maximised lifespan and performance. The EFRA homologated packs are available in a range of configurations including 7400mAh and 5800mAh 2S standard, a 6000mAh saddle and a 4600mAh shorty pack as well as a 6500mAh 1S and a 6700mAh 4S pack. All include suitable bullet type power and balancing connectors along pre-wired charging harnesses.
