JConcepts RB6 Monroe battery brace & FR shock tower

New for the RB6, the Monroe battery brace by JConcepts is highly functional and aesthetic eye-candy, designed from genuine 2.5mm carbon fiber. With so much variety in today’s batteries and with most vehicles having a flexible mounting position forward and aft, functionality is always a top priority. With the Monroe battery brace, running different battery positions is possible while maintaining the necessary terminal clearance and providing a healthy holding force to keep everything intact even in the most demanding conditions or the inevitable crash. Also new for the RB6 is this 4mm carbon fibre front shock tower. A lightweight, durable and high-grade option for the popular vehicle, JConcepts has located and plotted the exact geometry locations while trimming the outer border of the tower in a low-profile and slim configuration. Additional reinforcement ribs have been added where needed for extra strength. The front tower includes front 4 – 3x10mm mounting screws for a secure hassle free attachment.

Xray XB4 linear & progressive springs

Xray XB4 linear & progressive springs

Xray have announced new springs for the XB4 that have been specifically designed to complement the big bore shocks. Sold as a pair, the spring rate of the linear springs is constant during the entire spring compression, while the main advantage and benefit of progressive springs is that as the car initially enters the corner they work like soft springs to provide maximum traction. At the same time, when the chassis begins to roll, in the middle of the corner, the spring rate progressively increases until they work like a hard springs which allows the car to maintain maximum cornering speed. Like all the other Xray springs, these springs are manually measured, selected and matched into pairs to guarantee precisely equal length and damping characteristics. The front springs are available in Progressive (2 stripes) and linear (2 Dots & 3 Dots) while the rear springs are available in progressive (2 stripes) and linear (1, Dot, 2 Dots & 3 Dots).
