Novak introduce the new Vulcan Spec and Outlaw brushless motors. Based on the proven Ballistic platform the new motors feature a redesigned stator, new endbells, and updated options to make for the highest possible performance. Coming in two variants for sanctioned and outlaw races the Vulcan Spec is build using the largest wire permitted for spec racing classes while the Outlaw sports Novak’s new ULR ultra-low-resistance stator for maximum copper fill and power in ‘outlaw’ racing. Both motors are available as 10.5T, 13.5T, 17.5T and 21.5T variant.

Team C Racing announce new shock and differentials oils as an extension of their existing line of silicone fluids. JConcepts introduces a stylish, durable and lightweight alternative Titanium turnbuckle kit for the popular Team Associated vehicles. The base of the shafts design is centered around a .143” titanium hex size which gradually tapers down into a 3mm thread base design which accepts standard JC and AE ball-cup configurations. The focus of the styling surrounds the lengthened adjustment hex area and the ‘finned’ cuts that rotate about the center. The fin turnbuckles are lightweight and the original design brings out the glamour and quality that makes titanium one of the most sought after exotic materials in the world. The JConcepts turnbuckles are produced with left and right hand threads with the left being conveniently marked for easy orientation. The suitable JConcepts turnbuckle adjustment wrench is offered separately.

Avid extends their range of 12mm big bore shock absorber pistons by two flat-type 2-hole 1.5mm and 1.7mm variants. The precision machined pistons are useable with many of today’s 12mm big bore shocks such as the ones from Team Associated, TLR and Kyosho. Machined to tight tolerances the pistons reduce performance decreasing blow-by and come supplied in sets of four in a handy container. To make the most out of the company’s line of shock parts Avid also released a comprehensive piston table, a 1 page reference and setup help. The goal of the piston table is to provide recommendation on what pistons/oil to use as a standard setup, and then to dictate which pistons to use in order to change setup for grip, large jumps, and smooth or bumpy conditions. We reported about the Yaiba Racing option parts for the Team Associated B4.2 buggy before and now the Japanese company released some pictures of a fully hopped-up example. Part of the Yaiba Racing line up of option parts is an aluminum front hinge pin brace, servo mount, rear camber plate, alloy battery mount thumb screws, as well as several damper parts such as lower shock caps and spring preload nuts. All parts are CNC-machined from high quality aluminium, come red anodized and most of them are laser-etched with Yaiba Racing logos. The parts not only fit the B4.2 but all Associated-based conversion kits also.

Xray introduce new optional anti-roll bar wires in several diameters in order to fine-tune the handling characteristic of the buggy. Available from 1.0mm to 1.8mm the bars are made from heat-treated spring steel wire and come with laser-etched size markings for easy identification. Both the front and rear anti-roll bar are interchangeable so there is no specific front or rear wire.
