Serpent introduces these machined aluminum zero steering blocks, or as some call them 0 degree aluminum spindles, for the full Cobra 1/8 line. Very durable, they are made from 7075 T6 aluminium, which has been anodized. The new part will create more on throttle steering, this will be very noticeable especially on corner exit. Fits all cars in the Cobra line.

This high spec competition buggy features a narrow 3mm lightweight chassis plate design with optimal weight distribution and ultra low center of gravity. Akula Racing have announced the AKX2 Thresher chassis conversion kit for the Ansmann X2C and Teacm C TC02C kits. The kit replaces the three-piece moulded plastic chassis with a 3mm thick 6082 aluminium chassis. This is fitted with carbon fibre side plates to control the flex, this gives the option to tune the chassis flex by changing the height of these from the chassis, the higher they are the stiffer the chassis becomes. The main benefit from a one piece aluminium chassis over the moulded plastic on the X2C/TC02C is that it has much more consistent and controllable flex which improves steering response, gives more overall grip, greater consistency and even better rear traction.

With these new tires, MCD have released the first 1:5 / 1:6 offroad tires specially designed for Astroturf. All astroturf isn’t the same so to always have the best traction they will be available in two different pattern, Astro Grip and Astro Max, and two different compounds, white and yellow. This way you always can reach a maximum on traction and it doesn’t matter if it is wet or dry, hot or cold. Also suitable for the most 1:5 / 1:6 2WD cars by using the original rims.
