Durango DNX408 wheel axles & diff retainers

Team Durango are pleased to announce the arrival of two new option parts for the DNX408 buggy. First up are these aluminium wheel axles which are direct replacements for the standard steel wheel axles on the DNX408. They offer a 64% weight saving over the standard part, reducing both the un-sprung weight of the suspension and rotating weight of the transmission by a total of 26.4grams. Next up are these aluminium diff retainers which add precision, strength and durability to the DNX408. Sold in a pair, they are anodized black and feature lazer etching on both sides.

JConcepts Inverse wheel & updated car stand

Seen at the World Championships in Thailand last November, the new JConcepts Inverse wheel with 2-piece design provides several benefits for maximum tune-ability and ease of use. The inner wheel comes standard in a black matte finish and is designed as a completely smooth surface for the cleanest fit and finish which resists debris build-up. The outer dish is available in bright white or fluorescent yellow and is creatively interlocked with the wheel and with the addition of inner screws can provide tuned flexibility. A 4 or 8 screw combination can be utilized for tuning with 8 screws providing a stiffer inner wheel and 4 screws providing more flex. The Inverse wheel face also incorporates a user friendly wheel face shaped to promote a smoother gluing, wiping and drying experience. Also new from JConcepts is their updated polycarbonate car stand which is now available in a matt black finish.

Mugen MBX6T 5mm longer chassis

Mugen have announced the release of an all new option 5mm longer chassis, with 5mm longer rear center drive shaft, for the MBX6T Truggy. The chassis is extended 5mm on the rear section which will allow for more weight to be placed forward which in turn will increase corner entry speed and stability. This new chassis length will increase high speed stability which will be especially noticed in rough sections. Available the end of July.

X-Factory E-Speed motor plate

X Factory and Ellis Stafford are proud to announce the new E-Speed motor plate to fit all 4-Gear X-Cars. Fresh from his dominating victory at the TLR Super Cup race, Ellis releases the newly designed motor plate to improve motor cooling and reduce bending. Made of 7075 aluminium, the new plate is stronger than the standard motor plate and has extra material too. Extra cooling areas make the plate even more efficient than the old one it replaces. The color matches Ellis’s motor plate support bracket and his heatsink/fan mount, so the three parts play very nicely together.

Bittydesign 8ight Force body

Bittydesign are pleased to announce the Force cabforward body shell for the Losi 8ight buggy. Designed with the help of TLR team driver Riccardo Rabitti the new body helps to cure the buggy’s corner-entry understeer characteristics and also provides a more aggressive off-power steering. The body was tested for the first time two weeks ago at the 3rd round of the Italian national championships by several TLR drivers with positive results on European style tracks. The body also features a special cab design that allows for an additional venting hole to help with engine cooling in very hot racing conditions. The body will be available mid July and is sold with window masks, decal sheet and overspray film.

Team Orion Vortex MR8 & MR8L motors

The Vortex MR8 and MR8L are Team Orion’s new 1/8 sensor brushless racing motors. They are equipped with sensors for perfect throttle control and a 4 pole rotor for improved performance. Available in two versions, regular length for buggies and XL for truggies and monster trucks and in a wide range or windings.
