Neo Buggy have some news from World Champion engine maker O.S. about their new 3.5cc VZB V-Spec Alu headed buggy engine. The engine appears to be the same as the magnesium headed VZB, however features a more conventional aluminium head for those racers wanting the power of the V-Spec but on a tighter budget. The headâ€™s styling also differs from the distinctive magnesium version as a result of the heat conduction characteristics of aluminium, which mean a smaller diameter can be used, and also allows for a new engine head shape. The weight difference is also kept to a minimum with the alu head only 25g heavier than the Magnesium version.
GS Racing have released three new colors of Truggy Dish Wheel for you to choose from. Available in white, fluorescent yellow and reflective silver these new wheels offer racers different choices to enhance the visuals of their truggy, without compromising performance.
HoBao have released this new optional for their Hyper 8 that allows the user to easily adjust the cars Ackermann and toe settings. When mounted in the car there are now 3 positioning holes for the steering rod, to adjust the Ackermann while in the center is a screw which you can easily adjust to increase or reduce the space between the two ends of the steering plate, increasing or reducing the cars front toe out.
Yet another exclusive first look at some new products by Much More, from our site partners RC Forum in Korea. According to the report, the Motoreal is one of the 2 new ranges of brushless motors soon to be released by Much More and these are the modified motor versions. These particular motors are available for on road touring class with 3.5 and 4.5 turns while the 2 off road versions come in 5.5 and 6.5 turns.
Caster Racing, the buggy maker who was recently purchased, have announced the release of this new droop gauge. Working in the same way as every other similar gauge, this black anodised version allows downstop settings to be measured, and set, between -4mm and 10mm. Available now.
K Factory, the optional parts wing of Team Magic, have announced the release of some new optional parts for the Team Magic M1B 1/8th scale buggy. First up (above) is a replacement for the original composite servo saver linkage mount, which has been made from aluminium with composite inserts, that increases the strength and durability in this vital area. Also new are some rather cool looking chassis stiffeners, for both the front and the rear of the car, that have been made from aluminium and carbon fibre which are super lightweight and additionally keep the centre of gravity of the M1B as low as possible. And finally is a set of center diff mount stiffening rods, which work with the chassis stiffeners to remove all flex from around the center diff that could reduce the life of the parts in this area.
Werks Racing have introduced the newest addition to its ‘Team Line’ of engines, the TL21B3-Pro utilizes an improved case design featuring additional stiffening ribs around the sleeve area to control heat expansion, while a new long stroke design, coupled with a race proven 3-port design, provides the perfect blend of strong torque and aggressive top end. The B3-Pro features much of the same factory machining normally only found in higher priced hand modified engines which includes extensive casework improving the primary boost port as well as the transfer ports. Fuel flow is further improved on the sleeve by machined teardropping of the transfer ports as well as a series of crankshaft alterations and combustion chamber changes that include a new fluted crankshaft with revised timing.
Serpent have announced the release of their latest Mega motor, which is the first Mega buggy engine to be released that uses the Novarossi based Massimo Fantini made engine. The Mega MF21 OFR 5P 3.5cc engine is a top of the line buggy engine which as the name suggests has a 5 port liner and also features a lightened and hard coated crankshaft with a large turbo scoop. The motor itself uses a non turbo plug, has a large cooling head and the front bearing uses a rubber seal to prevent dirt getting into the motor from behind the flywheel.
