Featuring quality internal parts for a long lasting engine, driveability and fuel economy are optimized for the latest buggy chassis’. Internally designed with low timing so you can fully appreciate the torque as well as the top speed its 6 port configuration offers easy-to-tune characteristics and strong low end power. Supplied with a 14mm ‘turbo’ crankshaft, ‘knife edged’ aerodynamic connecting rod, hard chromed brass lapped 6 port liner, lightened piston CNC machined from high percentage silicone alloy billet, turbo combustion chamber insert, light weight cooling head, 14mm main bearing, front rubber sealed dust protected bearing and the latest special designed buggy composite slide carburetor with 7.0mm venturi insert.

Durango DEX410 machine cut diff ring gear

Team Durango are pleased to announce the arrival of the machine cut diff ring gear for the DEX410, DEX410R and DESC410R models. Precision machined from high strength steel, the gear adds strength and at the same time reduces the rotating mass of the transmission. The gear is 1.2g lighter than the standard gear, giving a 10% reduction in the weight of this component.

Serpent Cobra-E gets final test

Serpent are reporting that team driver and offroad designer Billy Easton made the final test of their new Cobra-E 1/8th scale EP buggy before finalising the production run. Expected to be released at the end of August, the new car was put through its paces in the US and was found to have awesome acceleration, fast cornering and balanced jumping. Sporting the final body shell, the new design is super low and narrows towards the rear channeling air flow to the lower wing. The test car was run with the optional aluminium shock towers, while the final car will come supplied with carbon versions.

Team Durango aluminium rear gear box holder

Team Durango release an aluminium rear gear box holder for the DEX410, DEX410R or DESC410R. Precision machined from high-grade aluminium and anodised to give it a hard-wearing finish the metal part replaces the stock plastic holder. The holder features a set screw that is used to hold the hinge pin in place for the battery strap.

CS Electronic Bison brushless controller

CS Electronic introduce their new 1/8 scale brushless controller called Bison-Rocket. Designed for the use with 2S up to 6S LiPo batteries in buggies, truggies, Short Course and monster trucks, the sensorless speedo features different drive modes, adjustable software parameters such as punch control, drag brake and brake strength and comes including a programming card. The controller is also available in combination with a 2200kv truck or 2700kv buggy brushless motor.

JM08 TLR22 Stealth Chassis

RossMod release the JM08 Stealth chassis for the TLR22 2WD buggy. Cut from T6 alloy and hard anodised in black colour the chassis give the buggy a 10mm shorter wheelbase for improved rear traction, turn in and agility. Added front kick-up gives a safer and more composed steering while the flat rear part of the chassis plate gives greater standard anti-squat and also moves the rear gearbox providing a slight increase in weight loading towards the rear of the car. All chassis are checked for trueness and accuracy.
