New for the S811 Cobra, Serpent have released these optional anodised 7075 T6 aluminium suspension brackets. Suitable for the rear side of the lower rear suspension, this part offer a very strong and stiff alternative to the standard part and also accepts the standard composite inserts too.

More new parts from Serpent for their S811 Cobra buggy with the release of this precision machined anodized T6 aluminium monoblock type engine mount. The lower mounts remains seated on the chassis, and only the upper bracket remains attached to the engine, for quick and easy engine mounting/removal. Precise positioning is achieved with steel bearing-pins and threaded holes. A super finish with extra cooling fins on the side. Serpent have also introduced precision machined and anodized aluminium servo posts, these lightweight parts replace the standard steel parts.

Having already seen some shots of this new tread pattern, Pro-Line have officially announced the Sniper. These 1/8 buggy tire uses the same design philosophy and technology as the Hole Shot, but scaled up to work in looser and dustier conditions. After initial testing, Pro-Line team drivers like Ryan Cavalieri and Travis Amezcua are already sold on the tire saying that the Sniper offers awesome forward traction and side bite in a variety of track conditions. The bigger pins also provide longer wear, giving you lasting traction through long A-mains. Available in M2 (Medium), M3 (Soft), M4 (Super Soft) compounds. PL have also released their all new Scrubs 2WD front buggy tire. Designed specifically for wet and dry clay tracks, the scrubs front tire offers an optimum angled bar side bite, as well as a pin design, which will make your buggy track like an arrow. Offered in our M3, MX and MC compounds to meet your entire clay track needs.

Serpent have announced the release of these new aluminium wheel-axles for their S811 Cobra buggy. Precision machined and hard anodized, they are super lightweight and replace the standard steel kit versions with no modifications required. Sold in a pair, they are available at the end of the month.

Factory Team 2WD off road rear ballast weight

Team Associated have released these Factory Team 2WD off road rear ballast weight which fits the SC10 FT, B4.1 FT, T4.1 FT and SC10 2.4 GHz RTR. ThisĀ  17 gram Zinc alloy cast weight helps give more rearward weight bias and mates with the #7487 arm mount for a completely captured fit with the chassis. Weight and mounts retrofit B4, T4, SC10 kits.

Race debut for Pro-Line Sniper

At the recent 5th round of the JBRL Nitro series in the US last weekend, custom specialists Upgrade RC spotted some all new tires from Pro-Line. The Sniper is a mini pin design with an alternating central row of large pins, which makes them great on hard-packed clay, including blue groove. We are sure Pro-Line will release more details of these new tires in the near future.
