Team Powers Actinium V5M Motor

Team Powers has announced their all-new Actinium V5M Brushless Motor. Based on their Actinium V5, the ‘Modify Spec’ features an Open Core Can Design for exceptional heat dissipation to keep the motor cool even under the most demanding conditions. Advanced Machining Profiles improve convection cooling, making a significant leap from the V5. A Proprietary Alloy Collector Ring minimises resistance while maximising heat dissipation, ensuring peak performance. Hand-wound High-Purity Copper Wiring gives unmatched accuracy and efficiency, reducing resistance to an absolute minimum. The 12.2mm Modify Rotor delivers smoother acceleration with the neodymium sintered rotor built to withstand high temperatures with minimal fade out. JC Racing Products JC10 Carbon Fibre

British company JC Racing Products has announced the launch of their JC10 Carbon Fibre as a kit. Designed and developed from the RPM long arm RC10 conversions used back in the late 1980s and early 90s. Not very popular back then but hugely popular now for the modern-day tracks and conditions. The JC10 Carbon Fibre is available in two classic finishes: Black and Ivory. JC Racing Products will also offer a range of motor plate colour options, allowing you to personalise your setup to match your style.

Xray XB2 Composite Gear Boxes

Xray has added the option of a Composite Gear Box for its XB2 1:10 2WD Buggy. Available for both the 3 or 5 gear set-up, they are molded from specially-formulated graphite composite material and are lighter and stronger that the standard version. All parts fit perfectly together, and the super-easy access to the rear differential will be appreciated by every racer. The durable gear box houses the differential and rear transmission and allows the mounting of the rear roll center holder, motor plate, and rear shock tower.

JConcepts XB8’25 P2 Body

JConcepts has released its P2 body shell for the Xray XB8’25 1:8 Buggy platform with new Xray team signing and JConcepts team driver Dakotah Phend having tested the body at the Southern Indoor Championships. The P2 design debuted in 1:8 at the last year’s Mugen Challenge and was then used at IFMAR 1:8 Offroad World Championship in Spain, having originally been created for the 1:10 racing. Key features of the P2 design are a tall stabilising fin on the rear of the body as well as a small mini fin placed behind the rear of the cab that does not interfere with the engine head. In the rear, the ramping feature that is so popular on the P2, creeps up behind the cab and engine head to create extra force and stability. The P2 is offered in both standard and lightweight options and each arrives as clear polycarbonate with protective film.

The Florida company’s blue compound is rated as a soft option and is an all purpose choose that excels in dusty and low bite conditions. Released as a 2.2” bead mounting diameter, the JConcepts Smoothie 2 mount straight to the latest generation wheels for that all important reactive feel. The carefully profiled slightly thickened tire carcass rolls through the turns with efficiency while the maximum smooth surface area grips the specialty surfaces like no other. Revolution Design B7 Ultra LCG 7075 Alu Chassis

Revolution Design Racing Products has released this Ultra LCG Aluminium Chassis for the Team Associated RC10B7 1:10 2WD Buggy. Made from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium, it combines extreme durability with optimised flex characteristics. The Ultra LCG Chassis design lowers both the motor and battery position, significantly shifting the centre of gravity downward resulting in improved cornering, increased traction, and a more direct driving feel. The chassis offers two servo mounting positions. Choose the original servo position if you prefer the factory-standard setup or utilise the new +5 mm forward servo position for increased steering response and a more agile driving feel making it ideal for tight and technical tracks. Included with the chassis is a 5mm carbon motor plate, allowing the motor to be positioned further forward. Additionally, the supplied Team Associated 81T spur gear moves the motor even closer to the centre of the vehicle, further optimizing weight distribution and reducing rotational inertia for faster direction changes.

Hudy entering 1:10 Offroad tyre market

Hudy looks set to enter the 1:10 Offroad tyre market with the founder of the company that bares his name, Juraj Hudy, posting on social media about testing pre-production dirt tyres. On his official Facebook page, Juraj, who was himself racing carpet offroad at MIBO International in the Czech Republic over the weekend, posted together with a photo of his two Xray buggies at the Hudy Arena offroad dirt track, ‘I am more than excited about this all-new HUDY project! The testing of our own pre-production dirt tires for both 2WD and 4WD has been successfully completed. After an extensive development phase involving numerous compound trials, we have finalized a superb compound that combines high performance with durability. Now, it’s time to move forward with the mass production molds.’
