Japanese off road specialist Team Azarashi have released the first pictures of their prototype Vaykal body shell, suitable for the 2wd X-Factory X-6. Featuring some very aggressive styling, the new shell is still being finalised and no fixed date has been given for its release.

More news from Pro-Line, who have also released some updates to their buggy and truggy line of tires. For the buggy, the company’s competitive Hole Shot is now available in soft XTR compound, in addition to the previously released M2 and M3 compounds. For truggys, they get 3 new additions to the LPR, Low Profile Race, range of tires with the addition of the Hole Shot, Bow-Tie and Crime fighter, all of which are available in soft XTR, super-soft M2, and ultra-soft M3 compounds, as well as coming as pre-mounts with the M2 and M3 compounds.

Robitronic have released a number of new parts for the Losi 8ight buggy and 8ight-T truggy. This turbo double air filter have been cut to fit the 8ight perfectly and does a great job of protecting your engine from dangerous dust particles. Available in a set of 6 or 12 foam pieces, both sets are supplied with high quality filter oil, enough to be used with the relevant amount of filters. Also new is a complete ball bearing set for the same cars, that consists of 24 long life bearings, suitable for all areas of the car, including the clutch.

New from X-Factory, under the Brian Kinwald Dirtz Dialed Partz label, comes this tire mounting cleaner. Designed to take the mold release off the tires, as well as grease off the wheels it evaporates quickly meaning you will spend less time doing tire prep. Brian, who discovered this special blend, had the following to say.
U.S. tires are various compounds of rubber and they all have mold release on them which absolutely must be removed. The glue won’t stick properly to either the tire or the wheel if you don’t clean both I’ve tried everything you can imagine to clean tires, from motor spray to 91% alcohol. Until now, nothing really worked. I love this stuff, and you will too!

King Headz have released this new long Ackerman steering plate for the Losi 8ight. CNC machined from 7075 aircraft grade aluminum and anodized black, this part is designed to increase rigidity and add strength. Bronze Bushings are used which provide minimal wear and slop, unlike the stock Ackerman plate which has steel bushings that become sloppy almost immediately. Also available in short version.

Seen at February’s Toy fair, Hudy have now released this range of stylish car stands for both 1/10 electric and nitro touring cars as well as a version for 1/8th scale off road buggies and truggies. The surface on both stands is black powder coated for maximum long life and to withstand abusive working conditions and has a very small footprint making it very handy to pack for travel. Strategically-placed holes provide a great place for temporarily storing standard or big-bore shocks during rebuilds, and laser-engraved markings (FL, FR, RL, RR) ensure you keep track of the proper shocks. Four rubber feet mean that the stand will stay firmly in place and not move while working on the car and 2 super-soft foam strips bonded to the top surface make sure that the car will sit softly and will not move while you’re working on it.
