Losi 8ight Brushless conversion

Electric-oriented modelers eager to drive Losi’s renowned 8ight or 8ight-T are going to love this new Electric Conversion Hardware Kit . The kit converts the nitro-powered 8ight family of products into an electric-powered ride. The hardware kit includes a molded battery tray and straps for up to a 5 cell LiPo pack, radio tray, aluminum motor mount, 2 pinion gears (1 for buggy, 1 for truggy), spur gear and all screws and washers needed to mount the components to the chassis. Also released from Losi is their new 1/8-scale 1700Kv Xcelorin Sensorless Motor and Electronic Speed Control Combo will convert any 8ight-based race or RTR vehicle into an electric vehicle.

LRP VTEC Kamikaze super soft tires

LRP have released the next compound of its Kamikaze 1/8 buggy tires line. The LRP R&D team and team drivers have specially developed a new super soft compound to achieve maximum performance during a qualification run or while racing in cold conditions. Testing has also shown that this tire is the best choice for racing in wet conditions. The VTEC Kamikaze pattern, the new VTEC rubber compound and the molded insert tames any surface the off road scene can offer.

Pro-Line releases for August

Pro Line have announced the release of a number of new products for off road racers including this Hardcore Slash body, which captures every essence of Championship Off-Road Racing with exceptional details down to the realistic bed shrouding, radiator, tubular chassis and shock details. The new Hardcore Slash body delivers ultra hardcore fun with aggressive off-road styling, an integrated molded rear wing for added downforce and pronounced fenders. Also announced is a new range of pre-mounts, such as the Holeshot, Crime Fighter, Bow-tie and Badlands, which now come mounted on the new Velocity V2 buggy rim. Pro-line also released some new 2.2″ Velocity quick change wheels which are specifically made with the Team Associated Posi-Lock quick-change system in mind.

Losi have introduced this 1/8-scale L8ight Model Race Roller, a professionally developed and tuned race roller designed specifically for dirt oval racing. With performance-enhanced features, such as dirt-oval-specific shock towers, big-bore oil-filled shocks, a molded front bumper, oversized body mounts, a Late Model-styled aerodynamic body and Losi/GRP dirt oval racing tires, the L8ight claims to offer superior quality when compared to the competition.

HongNor 2-piece Centre Diff mount

HongNor have released this 2 piece centre diff mount set, which is suitable for the company’s X1X buggy series. Designed for ease of maintenance, the set features an efficient off set brake cam design, while not having to use a centre post also saves weight. The set includes all necessary parts, and all the plastic pieces have been made with a high percentage fibre glass nylon for extra strength and durability.

Reckward Tuning Tourex buggy tires

Reckward Tuning from Germany have been in contact to let us know about their new line of 1/8th scale off-road tires, designed by their technical product designer Renato Vita. Set for a September release, these tires will be available in different profiles called X100,X200,X300 and X400 as well as in soft, medium and hard compounds. Available to buy seperately as rubber & insert foam together with special rims, later RT expect to release pre mounted versions as well as truggy tires by the end of the year.

Team Trion Car stands

Team Trion have released this pair of car stands to help with car preperation. Available in green, and featuring the Trion logo, the stands are available in 2 heights, a low version for touring car and also a taller version for off road cars. Supplied with foam strips for both the top and bottom of the stand, your car will not slide of the stand and the stand will not slide of your workbench.
