More new products from Spanish company Ultimate Racing, who have released this wheel balancer gum. As the name suggests the 50 gram tub contains gum to use to counter balance any off balance in your buggy’s wheel. Simply use a wheel balancer tool to find the heavy side of the wheel and counter weight it with as much or as little of this stuff as you need.

JQ Products, the company started by Finnish racer Joeseph Quagraine, has released information on his first publicly available products, all of which come in gold or black machined aluminium. Made for the HoBao Hyper 8.5 there are new shock towers, which are lighter than the stock versions, with the front one saving you 6 grams while the rear one 14 grams. The front tower is also stronger due to the fact that the upper arm holes aren’t drilled all the way through, removing the need for the usual plastic piece. Also released are som front arm holders, designed to accept a toe-in bushing making it possible to add more kick up to help in the bumps and jumps. Finally some front wide arm holders have been made available, that are to be used together with Hyper 7 front arms. This is something that JQ himself used for the last 2 years when he raced for HoBao, and which makes the car a lot easier to drive by making it more stable, tracking straight in bumps and more level in jumps. The wide spacers are placed behind the Hyper 7 arm, on the hingepin.

CS Electronic have announced the release of this new Super Sport 13.5T brushless motor, which is aimed at club racing and other spec racing series’. The winding of this motor, along with the rotor, has been optimised for best performance and power delivery, while the ventilation holes in the can greatly help reduce the working temperature and thus help increase efficiency. This motor has been approved by the DMC (German RC car Federation) for use as the spec motor in the 2wd and 4wd buggy championships, but can also be used as a spec motor in touring car classes.

Jammin have released this red aluminium clutch shoe set for their X1 series of buggies and truggies. Made from a special aluminium alloy, these CNC Machined clutch shoes are light weight and offer instant throttle response, while bevelled edges prevent mushrooming. Long lasting and low wear, the set is suitable for 3 shoe clutches and comes supplied with 1.0mm & 1.1mm springs & shims.

Xray have released these aluminium front lower suspension holders for the XB808, that have been CNC-machined from 7mm premium Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium and hard coated for extra durability and long life. Xray Integrated Suspension Settings gives adjustable front roll centre geometry in a range of 2mm (-1mm, 0mm, +1mm), and new reinforced bushings (included) have 1° and 0.5° eccentricity for front kick-up adjustment. Super-fine adjustments can be made by increments of 0.5°. The set also includes heavy-duty suspension pivot pins that have been heat treated for increased strength.

Xray have released this one-piece engine mount for XB808, which has been CNC-machined from premium Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, hardcoated for extra durability and long life. Ultra-strong construction provides very long life and durability in even the most extreme racing conditions. We received some pictures from our site sponsors, AKA, of Gil Losi, Jr and team drivers Ryan Lutz, Cody King, Jimmy Wright and Mark Pavidis, who have just completed a three-day marathon of testing the all new AKA tires, wheels and foam inserts on a number of different tracks. The tests went very well and we have been informed that Mark has now left for the EFRA GP in Greece, where he will be competing with the AKA tires.
